US Delivery Dates

I had to call them but I don’t think it’s a scalable strategy because this ship was a different carrier than the normal VW scheduling system, meaning it wasn’t even on the list of future options when mine was sitting in Emden. All that said, the Marine Traffic app is very accurate with the ETA on each scheduled stop. I am being unreasonably neurotic in even going to such lengths, mine should be right on time.
And as @gt3dude said, let’s see how the chips get dispersed.

The Track Your Dream site now shows my GT3 has completed production as of today and is in transit to Emden. It shows its estimated date for being on vessel as 10/1/21. I have tried downloading a vessel schedule from pwl.de, but the one that downloads only shows August departures from Emden. Does anyone know how to find a September schedule? Thanks!

What had been your prior estimate for completion?

TYD is all good until your car arrives at port....at that point it will be sitting for weeks and nobody will have a clue when it will get released to dealer. This happened with my Cross Turismo and its happening again with the GT3. Id put away the app and just wait to get the call from you dealer.

Mine updated today, unchanged for anything other than an update in process.

My car is now at the Port of Emden. There is one ship (Siem Cicero) in port there now, and it's scheduled to depart tomorrow and arrive in Houston 9/29/21. Another, the Bishu Highway, is set to depart a week later. I just checked with my dealer, and his system shows no open campaigns for my car.

Never mind! I just got word from my SA that my GT4 is on the Siem Cicero and coming to Houston soon too. Woot!

lots of us held up in port. Was 9/15 a guess or did he have some intel?
I was told Porsche knows the effect this is having on dealers who have no cars to sell. They are doing all they can to deliver by end of September which is the close of 3q for most dealers financials.
