I doubt that ANY thing would make this guy happy...I don't even think he's really looking for a CAR, based on his posts....He's LOOKING for a DEAL....but not a car. There's a big difference.

Who in their right mind pays 30% markup on a car… any car… Thats money you will never get back. If you take that money and invest, dont touch it, you’ll make another 20-25k off of it in 18 months. Now you have 75k. Want me to list what that money buys? A lot! It buys a C8 Z06 to go with the GT3 and now you have 2 naturally aspirated cars. People have no common sense.

For those (and there is so many of them here) who own any flavor of GT3, this is borderline insanity. Keep driving the car. Its the same damn engine, same sound. Do you think the “driving event” will be so different to warrant the markup? Of course not.

Then you complain when dealers charge you $3500 for 2 year service that costs $450 to do it at home. Well what do you all expect? You guys are the reason for this, you reap what you sow.

EDIT : Daily drive this car? How? Its slightly stiffer than 991.2 GT3RS as per a friend of mine who drove one at length in EU (and this is inline with some of the other reviews). I suggest you go drive an RS and see if you can tolerate it every day. There is no way to not give up some comfort for all that handling you get as a result of suspension changes.

Do that a car show in front of people. See how well that goes over for you. Do any of this in real world situations.

The performance figures on this car do not dictate A DOLLAR over sticker. The turbo S absolutely.

If you can’t comfortably drive around without worrying getting pulled up on and embarrassed maybe hold onto your $50K.

For those and I know there are many that drive it 55 and ease on and off the brakes we are laughing even harder.

AMG this does not exist. Porsche is Tesla gas. Nerds.
If you got an allocation tomorrow for a 992.1 GT3, you'd take it and forget the BMW comparison venting rant.

Have you taken the Wonderlic by chance? Very curious if you would outscore Morris Claiborne at this point.

Honestly, when I hear this nonsense I actually agree with the process Porsche has in place, even as I’ve been left out in previous generations of the high demand cars. In years past, I had no issue getting into a used GT car and have had a blast.
Yokels like this guy need to stay on the outside looking in, let the purists build relationships with Porsche and enjoy the real value in these cars (it’s not measured on paper, you don’t get it.) YOU’VE NEVER EVEN DRIVEN ONE 😂 you’re using secondhand stories from a “friend” to develop your opinion..and who cares if you don’t daily the car..I personally don’t, it’s an extra car, but I know people on RL who daily theirs.

Fact check: The 2 year service does not cost $3500 at the dealer (it’s about $400 bucks) and should cost more like $90 at home if you’re doing the work yourself so why don’t you take yourself home because you’ve probably never changed the oil on a lawn mower.

Go where you’re treaded best.

If buying all GT3RS since 2007 and wifeys Porsche is not enough to beat the Youtubers and the connected then we have to look elsewhere.
I’m excited to experience the different brands, lots of cool stuff coming out.

If you don’t have a car and need a car, being put ‘on a list’ to order a Porsche is 100% the wrong way to get one a.s.a.p. Buy used, or buy at one of the auction sites.

The dorks who had no friends in HS and got no girls who look to a car to make them cool in their adult years.

To the you “offered 10K comment” yes. ASAP doesn’t mean now. I can wait a year. The faster the better. But why would I again pay $50,000 extra for a car BMW trolls their M8 with calling it the “911 killer” and guess what? It was made in 2019, this GT3 made in 2022 still hasn’t caught up! 🤣.

I was told the people in here would buying it for image, status yada yada. See how good that ego is after a monster boat M8 embarrasses you. And it’s fine the GT3 offers other things, but the point is not at a 50K premium. I can pay the premium I have the money. Only an idiot would do that though. This started with condescending comments like it’s something that should be done automatically. 👍

This could never happen at AMG or M. This type of logjam because those customers would look at this car, see it’s performance like normal car enthusiasts and laugh off the premium.

The geeks are only factoring in its re-sale value. The Porsche geeks. 😭.
While I am trying to be nicer these days, some of your comments are ignorant and insulting. You seem to want a turbo, high torque engine. Save yourself the $$ of buying the wrong car and skip the Gt3.

If you want to challenge the "value" of a new GT3 please compare it to similar track-oriented cars.

I own an M850 and while I like it and it may best a Gt3 in a drag race, who care??

You are on the wrong car (or are a troll) seemingly to impress others.

Sound he/she needs a Plaid. You will not find a faster car under a couple million. Straight line it is hard to imagine faster.
