We are seeing the same thing. Hoping to get a few more allocations soon to fill the orders we have currently. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Haven't you learned anything in the last 51 pages of this thread? Get ready to get raked over the coals. Your dealer is simply getting you primed to throw you over a barrel. No such thing as good will among these thieves

It only sold for over because some one just could not wait. Yes- there are shortages for those who just do not have patience. Porsches' "JIT" philosophy got the best or them on the semiconductor issue. BMW and some others' not in same boat. Although I am hearing demand for the ne M3/M4 off the charts and that is the only reason there could be delay if you do not want one off the lot- Just the right price for the Performance they offering.

I got rind of my 2018 because I could not get more than 2 sets of clubs in the trunk so picking up my new 2021 M550I on Wed. But - The Dealership in Northfield has a new M3 and the car is freakin killer. I actually really like the new grill. The car looks like a little body builder. Nicely done by BMW and certainly an upgrade. Plus, hearing the numbers BMW quoting are very conservative and the Competition running 530-540 HP.- not bad for an $85,000 car decently optioned if you require a 4 door for Daily driving

Who is telling you that? I've been following M3/M4 inventory in the DC metro area and several of the larger dealerships have had 5 or more of these cars sitting on their lots for about a month. That's not a good sign for a brand new model like this one.
When the F80/F82 came out there were usually only 2 or 3 on a lot and they were selling fast, sometimes with markups.
