Allocation + ADM?

I’ll start a YouTube channel if Porsche will give me an allocation.

I enjoyed the video. I like that he specced with intention and plans to drive the car. I give credit to those of you (us) who actually drive these cars. I couldn't care less about how much I spend on a car. What matters to me is if I want to grab the keys EVERY time I leave the house. Two cars have done that for me lately - 993 and 991.2 GT3. I've had some more "special" cars in the last bit of time and they are gone for lack of use. (993 is gone for excessive hassle factor, but that's a different topic for a different sub-forum)

I know all the normal guidelines are kind of gone with Covid-related production issues, but what's the typical timeframe between a build allocation and dealer delivery?
2022 Q1 allocations aren't out yet, but if I were top get say a February or March 2022 allocation slot, when could they typically expect US dealer delivery? 4-5 months assuming no significant 2022 supply chain or labor issues?

Was told I typically...assuming no Covid delays...would likely see the car April/early-May timeframe, but my build is PTS and my dealer indicates "they take a little longer."

Seems like 15-25 is standard, with more for a Touring. I'm paying for a Touring spot.
One of my poor choices in recent years was to give up a slot at MSRP for one of the first 991.2 manual GT3s, as I knew I wouldn't drive it the way a GT3 should be driven. The dealership really appreciated it, as I'm sure did the next guy in line. What are the odds he tracked it vs flipping for a profit?
As for the Touring spec, I've had some cars slathered in leather and fine stitching, and it doesn't make it drive any better, or keep the lady in a Subaru from sideswiping you on the highway. This time I'm going for a few cosmetic options and Bose. And I plan to drive it every chance I get, probably on the track too. Before I get too old. At least then I can someday tell a group of EV performance punks "hell yeah I owned a gas guzzling GT3 and I drove the crap out of it, shifted gears and everything!"

he said that if I miss the 13th Sep then it would be one month later to Feb 2022.

so…. this is getting ridiculous.
some dealers. barge over msrp for gt3 992.
sure
we get used to it and deal with it
now a friend went to new Porsche dealership ontario calif
they flat out ask for ADM and require u buy a porsche watch …. now enough is enough
porsche makes a few cars that’s decent but make zero
watch worth wearing
just a little ticked off with some store tactics. friend is too nice. I would have dropped my shorts and asked them to suck my ***** then i’ll buy a few cars from
them…
ONTARIO porsche new store
just so u all know which store it is

"I spoke with the GM here, very nice guy. He said we are so short on supply we have to take advantage of ADM on gt3s flat out. I respected his honesty."
Same.
And we can only really blame ourselves. Lots of dealers held out and insisted they sold only at MSRP as a point of pride. But heck, when people bought at MSRP and then flipped for 10 or 20 over, how did we expect the dealers to react?

No one is denying that there is a shortage across the board when it comes to cars but I would say that we are probably close to the very top of the market so unless I really wanted the car ASAP, why would I pay the current ADMs? The chip shortage will get straightened up in the next 12 months or so and all ADMs (including on non Porsches) will come down because auto markers are gonna ramp up supply big time.
