Pricing Speculation?

If a Dealer will get you an allocation for $10,000 over and you get to build it one would be crazy not to jump on it. The ADM game will go higher than $10,000 on this round. Too much money on the street right now

I anticipate moving up the allocation list rapidly once the market reckoning is upon us!

i think i shouldnt buy this thing, if im going to be concerned about a 8% difference in price its probably not in the right league of car for me. love the car andreas prunefinger. but its too expensive for me - as well as overkill for getting from A to B

Now that we have the number this is an interesting read.
Looks like I was 5% over.

I thought no way over 158k for small bump in horsepower.
But $161,100.00.
And expensive options Full buckets, Ceramic brakes, FAL, Carbon roof, headlights, leather. Real easy to get over 200k.

You are absolutely right - the PTS build I am closing in on tops $215 plus ADM. Seems like a lot to me but I am sure I will find some way to rationalize it!

I sure hope you guys are right about the 155-160 range... BUT, if this happens this means the current 991.2 GT3/GT3T bubble is going to burst. Porsche can see that people still are willing to pay those prices for USED 3 owner GT3's. I don't see why they'd upset that market when its their own dealers bringing in the coin. Porsche still makes money on pre-owned Porsche's.
Do they price it between 155-160 and burst that GT3 bubble, or do they aim higher? The only drawback to them getting greedy and going higher is if there is a global recession and they are sitting there with cars piled up.

The price increase really isn't so bad if you factor in we now get keyless entry, larger rear wheels, better front suspension, better infotainment, CF hood, and larger iron discs, etc. I had probably one of the lowest spec 991.2 Touring back in '18, so will do the same this time around by opting for no cost paint in black or yellow, add FAL, big tank, red seatbelts and all the no cost options and call it a day. Total came to $166710, not so bad. I enjoyed the driving experience of the Touring just as much as my heavily spec '19 .2RS so adding $30 40K of options doesn't do anything for me. Won't get PCCB as the iron brakes are already bigger than last gen's and lighter too. I can wrap the seat center of the 4 way w/ black/red or black/white houndstooth fabric like last time, get mats w/ a red border to dress up the interior, then wait a year or so for the price to normalize so I can get it at sticker. Even though the GM of my Porsche dealership and I are on first names basis, I don't think I can get the car at MSRP in the first year, but he'll probably do it after the initial demand subsides. If you don't think Porsche will build as many cars as demand, think again.

Question- wrapping 4 ways? I thought the seat inserts were only for bucket seats. Can you dress up 4 ways/18 ways without doing CXX?

$30 worth of fabric and the center insert is real easy to remove once you find the two plastic tabs that hold it inside.
