ST, Sport Classic and RS in that order.

First two are manuals and the last one is PDK.

A fair bit is known about the SC & the 992RS. What do we know about the ST apart from manual - which engine, weight, timing, price guide, numbered car?

I saw this somewhere before:

https://www.motortrend.com/news/pors...ary-rs-rumors/

I just don't understand why this article is stating that the best choice (according to the writer) is the 50th anniversary RS, over the ST and Sport Classic.

All of it seems a bit vague to me at this point, but my current takeaways from the rumors....

-Sport Classic: 3.8L Turbo based engine (could be tuned up or down. possibly down due to manual as well as no side air intakes), manual, RWD, ducktail, limited at 992 units

-ST: 4.0L GT3 based engine tuned up, manual, similar in concept to the 911R, possibly widened fenders like the original ST, number of units?

-RS 50th Anniv: 3.0L GTS based engine, trans?, light weight things, number of units?

Some pretty well informed board members have said the info about the 50th RS is wrong...

Manual for the RS would go against current RS ethos.

How about the 992 GT3 RS with everything turned to 11 to give us 550ps and very limited loud colour options with decals as the 50th.

Ducktail fans can buy the SC.

More speculation 😂
