I am wishing for a 6-speed manual.

I think that will be reserved for the Normally aspirated engine in the GT3. It would require new gearing to work with a turbo motor with a lower redline and similar top speed. I'm not sure what the torque limit is for the 6spd Manual, but it's possible that it's not high enough for a hi performance turbo motor as well.

wouldn't make sense for Porsche to take a 992 GT3 "touring" and perform a "GTS" exercise on it to create a "Sport Classic"?

So....in seriousness....would Porsche really try to offer both an Sports Classic and a 50th Anniversary RS within the same 12 month period, presumably both with ducktails....sports classic being turbo, and RS being N/A?
I mean....if they can make 1 of 992 and the other 1 of 1973......sure maybe, but a turbo sports classic feels not very special if that happens......

Not sure if anyone outside of Porsche actually knows, but my guess would be a RWD Turbo PDK with lightweight package, and of course, a duck tail. Not sure if it would be a numbered car, but certainly limited production so getting an allocation could be tough, depending on how ‘special’ it is...
