I believe they're already making them for a while.

Whats wrong with the SharkWerks one?
It looks pretty cool. Would go nice with my Akrapovic cats. If i don’t do the Akra cans.

I’m concerned it will be too loud.

Thanks Soul for showing the open PSE. I was under the assumption it was pretty good. It looks like a POS.

Hey guys! I appreciate the interest in us developing a replacement muffler for the PSE. However, after sticking a scope in one of the PSE mufflers and later cutting one apart to see it fully...there just doesn't seem to be a market for it. With valves open the PSE muffler is straight through from the cats to the tips. With valves closed it does a great job quieting the exhaust sound back down. To replace the PSE muffler on this specific model car would be increasing cabin presence with valves closed without a notable change in valves open, and we just don't see the return on investment in developing that for SOUL and for you. Here's the quick video I made while working from home explaining that a bit.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

Max has been working a batch of 991.2 Sport Cats - thank you for your orders! Back purged welds, thick gauge aluminum fixtures, heat sinks to reduce warping during welding, and several location gauges ensure fitment is perfect and quality is lasting.

I can't argue with that haha, we are going live on preorders for the headers by the end of the week. If you'd like to place an order you will be able to do so on our website at the product page, giving me a call at 4848836197, or emailing me at johng@soulpp.com. The price point will be $2395. Final production photos, independent 3rd party dyno testing, and sounds clips will be coming soon.

Now about lead times, I want to be as transparent about this as possible. With this Covid mess going on we were down most of our manpower in fabrication for 3 months while our order numbers increased significantly. We consider this a blessing as we would much rather have it this way than the other way around, we are lucky to be in this position while others have not been so fortunate. However, this lack of manpower and increase in orders snowballed our lead times to approximately 4 weeks as we have to work through about 250 orders ahead you while we put new processes and manpower into cutting those lead times back down. If anyone would like to move forward with putting in an order on the headers and getting on the fabrication list, I very much appreciate your patience, your support and your business. I also hope you and your family have been managing through all this as well as can be expected.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

thanks. i'll stick to soul. preferred for many reasons.... excellent customer service, better value, locally made, etc.

if anything were to ever go wrong, john from @Soul Performance is a text away and i'm confident he'd move mountains to fix. kline i'm either buying from a third party here, or have to deal with poland.

I don't even have my car yet and have been in touch with John at Soul through PM and phone calls.
Customer service is second to none. Every single question or request I've had has been addressed and quickly. I love that they're within easy driving distance to my house. Hopefully we can use my car for some videos too.

I will be placing a very nice order as soon as I get my car (more specifically, once my paperwork is completed because I'd love to get some of the parts right when the car arrives from Cali).

TY John!

We don't put that kind of pressure on our fabricators, however long it takes it takes. We'd rather have it done right and their best work first time around.

Give Greg a call, I've already spoke to his account rep over here and we are ready for him. Thanks very much!

I really appreciate the kind words guys. It's always a pleasure chatting cars with fellows like yourselves, and the atmosphere at SOUL makes it very easy to do right thing by our customers every time. If we had to move a mountain lamacan, you can count on me looking for some dynamite...not that I need another thing trying to kill me, especially after diving into motorcycles recently haha. Rugu you can count on us getting together and getting some cool video of your car in action. I'll invite you out to one of the meets with the local 991 Enthusiasts group I'm a part of, we always have a good time heading up into the Catskills, Blue Mountain State Park, etc.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

We've updated our Sport Catalytic Converters with new mounting tabs for the heat shields - individual mounts opposed to one round piece. This makes it easier for us to build them with perfect accuracy and may give your hands a bit more room when putting the hardware back in. I just picked up a Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens and thought you might like to see some close ups of our work. As always, if you have any questions, let us know! Thank you for your patience on the headers - we're working serious overtime to meet demand of current orders and we appreciate all the opportunities to upgrade your Porsche!

Hey Mike,
Nice update on the Sport Cats.
Any pics of the final header design? We don't have any pics of the completed headers, just those in the jig being welded.
TY and can't wait to get mine very soon along with the sport cats!

Recently I went to our dealer Porsche to install this beautiful set of bypass pipes on my friend’s Carrara T. The mechanic showed us that the heat shield on passenger side , was out of place, and impossible to be attached with the 2 screws, the reason was that the lambda sensor was touching the edge of the shield. Finally he trimmed the shield and fix the design irregularity .
What happened ? ... Could be that the lambda’s bushing was welded out of place, or ...the heat shield’s support on the pipes was out of place.
Someone can explain me this?
I was impressed that day, because never expected that from a prestige brand like Soul, I know they are awesome and products are meticulous build!

Brand new Bypass 991.2 for Carrera T

Shield touching Lambda sensor

Trimmed shield around Lambda sensor

Rear screw hole unaligned

Finally aligned

Heat Shield already trimmed around Lambda sensor
