In my opinion, it is one of the most impressive
colors that Porsche has ever formulated! Good
luck with this beautiful PTS GTS!

Irish Green Targa and Signal Yellow GTS are both gorgeous.

More pics, please—don't be bashful!

Default Venetian Blue PTS Not Available

you tell us what the color code 'Venetian'
has now per your information & when you
were told that color was approved for the

Eduardo, you were correct. My dealer would not even ask Porsche USA if Venetian Blue was approved until I put down a $1K deposit after he told me he could get that color. He got an email from Porsche yesterday saying Venetian Blue is not approved and to stick with the approved list. Not sure why my SA or dealer doesn't have the "approved" list. Thanks again for your help and insight.

Have you considered another dealer? Of course they have the approved PTS list.
And yes, Eduardo has a wealth of information he has graciously shared with many here, myself included.
Venetian is a terrific color, so that's too bad. If you have the time, maybe you could request a feasibility study?

Only two dealers within 350 miles of my location, but your point is valid. Can a customer request a "feasibility study"? Is there a fee? I am not in a huge rush and it seems to be a popular color. Thanks

If his dealer was this clueless about PTS
& did not even have an approved PTS list
at the dealership ahead of informing his
client that he could order a 'Venetian Blue',
I doubt he would be a reliable conduit for
a color feasibility study request to PAG in
Germany. But you never know...

Thank you Keadog! How are you liking your
new Targa? And tell us more re: the LTS
'Black' leather in your car! We need to see
more photos (including close-ups of the
leather)! Was it worth it? You are the first
person I know in the US that ordered it!

Saludos,
Eduardo

+1 on seeing the LTS in Black. Very curious as to how it turned out.

Good point. I did love my '87 Carrera in VB though.

I've had a very busy time at work (not my idea!). The Targa is a great deal of fun, but haven't had much time in it. I'm happy with the LTS black, especially with the GT Silver stitching. Not sure pics will show much difference from "regular" black, but I'll try to post some up by the weekend. My wife likes the Porsche crests on the headrest - never ordered those before because I never felt compelled to pay extra money to advertize for them, but they do set off the seats nicely. I'm just happy to be back in a 911 with 3 pedals, even if it's a modified PDK. I do wish they had left "Sport" without the auto-blip on downshift. If that could be programmed out, I would. Otherwise, we both like the package. The color is very cheerful to look at in our opinion(s).

Maybe Signal Yellow, but I could be wrong. Eduardo would probably know.

My shop has just finished the PPF, Opti, window tint and we decided to add a custom stripe to contrast with the bright birch color. I haven't seen it yet in person but I like the effect.

That looks really cool! Good idea with the stripe.
