Anyone try this one out?

I've ordered one and will install this week. Just wondering about any tips or gotchas.

Ditto, it holds the phone very securely. In fact, I used a phone app to time my laps during a track day a month ago, and the phone didn't move at all.
The mount does preclude the use of the near cup holder, if that matters.
I am considering making a different sheet metal bracket to move the phone slightly higher and further to the right, but that's just me.

Rennline actually has two versions of that, the other is on the Suncoast site as well but they both can be ordered directly from Rennline too... just FYI.
I have the console mount version and it is pretty easy to install but both require the removal of the side of the console. Not a big deal. By mounting it on the passenger side on the console it seems to be as much out of the way of the controls as it can be.
The only problem I had with mine at first was that the plate that adheres to the phone side didn't stick to me official apple case very well... the case seems to be something like silicon. Fortunately they give you two of the stick-one plates (one round and one rectangular). I removed the first one and lightly sanded the spot on the case that the adhesive needed to stick to with 400 grit sandpaper to make the case a little less slick. Then the second plate stuck fine. I also helped it stick better by warming the metal disc gently with a lighter to get the adhesive to soften and most fully adhere.

Thanks all for the feedback. I'll report back once installed. The installation instructions say it can be installed on either left or right side. Right side conflicts with the cupholder. Left side could possible have the view blocked by the steering wheel.

+1 It works very nicely. I placed mine on the passenger side high. No problems with the cup holder at all. EASY install.

Oh Yes I forgot... Use some WD-40 on the screw that goes into the "ball" It was much easier after I did that.

Just to call out another couple of the pluses over many of the others I looked at (although I have the console mount version):
- When I choose not to mount the phone, the footprint of the mount itself is tiny and clean. See the photo of mine with no phone below.
- Many of the mounts I saw intrude on the passenger's space. This one keeps the phone out of the way of both the driver and the passenger. The seat cooler/heater button is just a little harder to reach from the passenger side this way, but slide the phone off for a moment and they are not blocked at all.
