Do you have a part number for the blank inside?

correct, cars that come with an MF wheel from the factory have a different 3-stalk assembly part than our 4-stalk ones, so if you just remove the 4th stalk (somehow) you can cover the now-useless hole in the column cover with that part, same as comes on MF wheel cars from factory

Hi everyone
I'd like some help with this project esp. part#s.
my 991.1 C4S has PDK - SportChrono - MF steering wheel - Red leather
I'm looking to upgrade to the equivalent 991.2 wheel in Red leather with mode switch controller.
I've done my search in suncoast, ebay & others but couldn't find a wheel with all the features & matching color (not even its part#).

If somebody has completed this upgrade in red leather, I'd appreciate posting photos along with the part#s for the wheel & airbag unit & the vendor if possible.
Thanks..

Interesting..
In this case, the Lt. side scroller & back button would control what functions?
I assume the Rt. scroller would still control the digital display in the cluster.

Curious if that's a factory wheel or something from the likes of Dallas Customs?
Thx

Same Question with the pictures in case it helps
Is this an OE wheel or refurb/customized like some of the stuff Dallas Customs does?

I got an email from the US DOJ this morning. Apparently the airbag I bought for my conversion off Ebay was counterfeit.
I'll be sourcing a new airbag.
Just a heads-up folks. Be safe.

When you replace the clock spring do you need to reset the streering angle?

I had to on my 991.2 when I swapped in a heated MF wheel. Reset it with an iCarsoft v3.

Why did you have to, did you get an error message or something?

Yessir, the error message came up as soon as I turned the fake key.

I had to calibrate the new clock spring, as soon as I turned the key 4 error messages popped up on the display. After calibration all errors went away.

I think this is worth noting....I went from Sport Design steering wheel and Sport Chrono to Multifunction steering wheel with heat. After installing the GPS module and installation of the new heat switch supplied with the kit all mulifunctions and heat were working perfectly on the new MF steering wheel however as soon as I removed the redundand 4th stalk (lower right side of the steering column) I lost all MF on the new steering wheel. In order to get back the MF I had to purchase the MF code and have it coded to the car using PIWIS.

In the end this was a pretty staright forward DIY and I'm jusy thrilled with the end result.
