Makes sense. He couldn't participate else everyone would have found out the truth: that the huge bulge in his pants was just a foil-covered cucumber.

I hear some people believe when they stick a Turbo badge on cars; it makes them feel that their car can go fast lol.
You would be surprised on how the rest of the masses believe these stickers/badges etc (I know we all are car enthusiasts over here).
Yep "911 Turbo" is an exception as it is a model name for the car.

Don't know why but the wing up at a stoplight bothers me more than the decal, both together should be read as "douche".

BWWhaaaaaaa!! I love to screw around with my car badges, been doing it for over 40 years now. It's amazing how many people get their panties twisted if THE WRONG BADGE is on the car.
I had a 1969 RoadRunner with a 426 Hemi in it. I left it completely stock except I put a set of "383" badges on the hood where the "Hemi" emblem came from the factory, and I scraped the decals off the air cleaner under the hood. Why? Because we use to street race for $ 5 to $ 10 back in the day and Hemi's were feared, 383's not so much. Fake 'em out.
I stuck a "912" badge on my 1970 911 S. Fun. "Holy cow man, that's a fast 4-cylinder car" I would hear. "Yes it is" I would reply.
My kitted-up BMW M3 was de-badged, too. I had my pal in France send me over 316iTDS badges, which was the slowest car BMW made in the 1990's. It was a 4 cylinder turbo diesel. People at the track would scratch their head at this one. I think the Roll bar and Fikses kind of gave it away, though. Still.....fun. I used to like to park that one at the local BMW dealerships and the new car salesmen would walk around it scratching their heads trying to figure it out. I went to a lot of effort to remove every M3 designator on the car and BMW put them EVERYWHERE.
Then I saw a RUF badge for sale on EBAY. Put a wing and some nice 3-piece ARTEC wheels on my 1996 C4S then stuck that RUF badge on the wing and I swear I thought the local PCA Chapter was going to tar and feather my car. Hilarious....that one upset a lot of people. "You....you...can't have that on there, its not a real RUF Porsche!" Why yes, I can have it on there, its my car. Now go ruf-off.
But you know, I've left my current car with the correct badging. I need to fix that so I can continue to screw with people. Think I'll go in search of some "718" emblems off the sad little 4-banger Boxster and stick 'em on my Carrera S. That will be fun.....

This is like the "Jeep Wave" rules. Stupid high school level stuff.
But for those of us without the affliction and need to put others down, pretty amusing to watch, in sad sort of way.

Well some people believe that integrity is always important and any falsification, whether it's passing your car off as one that some consider to be fancier or as a lesser one to win a $5 to $10 illegal street race or cheating on taxes or an old lady out of her savings, is always wrong.
But not everyone is made of the same kind of moral fibers, so if you're the type of person that needs to lie to others and convince yourself that it's not a big deal because you're not hurting anyone, by all means continue to put Veyron stickers on your Carrera.
