But not everyone is made of the same kind of moral fibers, so if you're the type of person that needs to lie to others and convince yourself that it's not a big deal because you're not hurting anyone, by all means continue to put Veyron stickers on your Carrera.

It's a pretty typical cheater rationale that everybody cheats and anyone who doesn't is "uptight" or whatever.

I think I will get a " Fuel Injected" badge. After all it is, sorts. . Morals are a fading virtue. Sad.

That's very true, unfortunately. Somehow "moral" became the same as "what you can legally get away with" to most people.

Seriously you're evaluating someone's personal moral fiber by their placing a turbo badge on a .2?

Here's what happens with ethics and integrity don't matter when you're "not hurting anyone" and doing things that are "perfectly legal" and it's "just business" or whatever excuse to justify your actions:

LMAO. I guess Porsche walked right into this one.

Who wants a "turbo" badge anyway if it's not reflecting the actual "Turbo" model? Every car has a turbo. Chevy Cruz can accurately use a "turbo" badge.

Maybe I'll go searching eBay for an "N/A" badge.

That's quite the non-sequitur; I have no idea how that relates to some person sticking a "turbo" badge to his or her car.

Misleading or not... I hate excessive badges on cars. Just looks so cluttered, especially with their close proximity to the license plate. This is even worse because it adds a third line when there is normally only two (or one if you are like myself and just went with the "Porsche" badge).

Interesting that last week at cars and cofffee someone took upon themselves to school me on why I should have bought an S and how my base 911 sucked.... all because I took off the "911 carrera S".... the base cars don't suck and mine isn't a base. Easy tell sign is red brakes, which could be painted but not likely.

People that care, know. They can identify the car without relying on a badge. People that don't care can't tell the difference between a base 997.1 and a turbo S 991.2.

We can tell it's a base by the exhaust tips and I'm having anxiety by the crooked 911...
