OFFICIAL NEWSROOM 991.2 GTS announcement THREAD - 450HP

Seems like the US configurator is still a bit screwy, as noted the PDK option is crazy, also it doesn't seem to include LEDs in the Premium Plus package. Sad, but not surprised, about the lack of LWBs in the US, would love those.
With the various GTS interior options (none of them ideal for me) it would take me months to figure out the right build (probbaly have to do some CXX) — I'll likely just stick with my C4S order as I don't want to add more delay and I'm very excited for it. Will keep thinking about my ideal GTS…

I got $153k. That's a bit much but I suppose as said before value has never been a part of the equation.
Guess they're getting the price spacing and coverage they're after. Very much a "What's your budget? Here's your car" scenario with typical build prices around
Boxster/Cayman <= $100k
911 Carrera $100-120
CS $120-140
C GTS $140-160
TT $170-190
TTS $200-220
...and let's be honest here the GT3 cars aren't really for sale so forget about them unless you're willing to work really hard to part with your money

Nice summary, but those numbers could be scaled down a bit with more sparse options. Sad a 4 banger car can push $90K or whatever.
The GT cars are not depreciation free. Have the 991.1's held up strong because of the limited number and economy? Sure. That won't always be the case. There is a bubble there that will soon deflate. Never buy a car as a safe haven against losing money. Many guys buy these cars on that premise and soon awaken to the reality.

So, I just switched my order - fully loaded C.2 S4 cab, MT at $163 msrp (goal is to get best performance MT 911 cab that would look low key and have, basically, all the goodies) to almost exactly optioned GTS4 cab EXCEPT for ADDING front axle lift and sport design to GTS4. GTS dialed in at $174 msrp. So, basically $11k for more HP and torque (albeit torque starting a bit higher), front lift and, IMHO, better looking So, I made the switch, but the increase in price was less than 7%. Can clearly see why one might not. Here is the build code for the GTS - PHDTUBL4

US Configurator

So no PDCC without adding rear steering too??
Could they really have bumped PDK up that much??
Try to keep the base price low, but bump up option prices??

I was able to build my dream .2 GTS for $136.98k. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Included the 5 lug wheels I really prefer too. Did i miss something?
Would still prefer the Aerocup wing or Sport Design Ducktail to what the Sport Design Pkg looks like.

I noticed the configurator allowed you to specify both GT steering wheel AND multifunction wheel... I thought they were mutually exclusive... does this mean you have a smaller diameter GT wheel, but all the multifunction buttons?

Wow... so PDK for a Carrera S is $3200 while PDK for the GTS is $4840.... go figure.
