I'm on my second 991.2 base. The first one was a coupe but I exchanged it for a Cabrio after 20.000 km. I was coming up from a 981 Boxter S so I was missing driving with the top down (summer and winter).

The 991.2 Base Cabrio is my daily driver and since I don't really track the car, the base was the correct option for me. In my country, the difference in pricing with the S was over US$ 23.000 and I just couldn't justify the price, specially because the base cabrio already had a lot of options and price difference for a little bit more of HP didn't make sense at the time.

Actually, just before the COVID-19 appearance, I installer the APR tune and I must say that now the car is a monster. Really happy with the performance of the car but unfortunately I haven't been able to drive it for over five (5) weeks due to the quarantine situation.

Today I had the chance to give it a bath and put it pijamas once again..... who knows when I'm going to be able to drive it again.

Love the car and I don't really miss going up for a higher HP model since I have more than enough. If I ever decide to change it in the future, I would go for a Targa which has always been my dream car.

I'm so in love with my car. During lock-down on Kurfürstendamm/Berlin:

I'm flying to MO on Friday to drive back to Texas my 991.1 C2. Here's a copy of the build sheet... I'm going to have fun with this thing lol. Probably going to have to sell the SCAR 17 to fund said upgrades, but I plan to keep this baby a loooong time.

Just got mine out of hibernation.

Was mild enough today for a top-down, one hour blast around the countryside.

I’m going to follow you on Instagram. Your car is exactly where I’m trying to be with exterior mods. And the photography is on point...magazine worthy.

Questions: what type of rear wing do you have on the car and what type of camera are you using to photograph?

thanks!

Thank you! Haven’t been out to take as many photos, doing my best to follow CDC guidelines. I am using a Sony A7R III and an assortment of prime and zoom lenses (24mm-200). PM me on here or IG if you’re interest in more details about the wing.

What phone holder is that, if you don't mind? I just spent 8+ hwy hours driving my 991.1 C2 home from AR, and there is NOwhere to put the phone in a reasonable position! In my 996 I had PCM and had the deck-shelf under the unit, perfect for a phone and wallet.

Thanks all! I posted this before I did more in-depth searching for this same issue, Rennline looks very solid.
