I can't seem to get my 991.1 over 20MPG, my damn foot is always in the gas.

I got something approaching 30mpg by leading my wife in her new Macan back home from the Ft. Worth dealer

You have to have the dealer enable Porsche car connect on the 991.2. You can't do it by yourself.

991.1 7 M/T

It got 29+ in mostly Highway going from northern NJ to NJ MSP.

On the return trip, I re-set the trip odo while at speed on the NJ tpk.

I got 31. something MPG over about 15 miles at about 70.

It should be noted that the car will get significantly less while AT a track day.

Touching the front edge of the "frunk" opens it up but only if the motor is turned off and the keys are in your pocket.
What I don't know however is if this is optioned only on cars that have the Porsche entry and drive package (keyless entry).

Funny, but true, story. With the keys in my pocket, this option used to drive me insane while washing the car on my driveway as every time I would spray the frunk lid, it would open up. I thought I had electrical Gremlins until I searched this forum and figured it out!

The manual will tell you to keep the keys away from the car when washing it. My Detailer who works with Porsches all the time does this like clock work

With AWE exhaust installed, when I want to be a bit more quiet I press the pse button and keep the "sport" portion on. Less loud while keeping the shift points crispy...does that make sense?

It does. Turning the exhaust off will channel the exhaust air through the side mufflers only (no exhaust going through the AWE X-pipes), while the throttle map remains in Sport.

Just curious, why more people tend to have AWE X-pipes vs FabSpeed X-pipes? They both do the same function at the same price.

When listening to music stored on an iPhone, it has different sound qualities depending on whether or not the phone is connected as an iPod or Apple CarPlay, even with the identical sound settings in the car. Furthermore, the equalization settings on the phone will effect the sound in iPod mode but NOT in CarPlay mode.

On one of my first drives, I pulled both paddles back to put the car in neutral at a red light so I could blip the throttle to show off my Porsche Sport Exhaust.
Uh . . . it will not go back into gear when the light turns green to go unless you have your foot on the brake. All those folks behind me formerly impressed by my Porsche Sport Exhaust started honking their horns at me to get moving as I tried to get it to go back into gear.

Don't see too much self deprecation here. Got nice chuckle.

If the sunroof is completely open, you can push the tilt button once and this will retract the sunroof but still leave the tilt up. At least with sunroof in glass.
