The wife and I seriously considered the Cayenne with MT that was available a few years back. Timing wasn't right. Could have been an all manual fleet...a fella can dream can't he?

And getting a car with a manual transmission will only determine Porsche to continue building them.

911 carrera 4 MT on order, my first porsche, waiting on january delivery

i wanted to keep it basic and a drivers car, but for 5k i couldnt resist those hips

maybe when the next gts arrives i will try the rwd

Yes, to the 7 MT, bought used last Sept. Two track events, and generally love the transmission and involvement with the manual.

I'm a bit tempted to put in a short-throw shift kit, but maybe an X-pipe like AWE first. That probably won't help the "deliberate," throw from 1st-2nd. That one always seems to have more resistance than any other upshift.
