Should I change the white stripe on the side to bronze to match the rims?

That was my first thought when I saw your car, but then I started to like the tension of the white. But…maybe try doing one side in bronze?

Then you can live with both a while and see what you like better, as you'll never see them at the same time.

@stout Color of the stripe is not 100% matching but I have now the Idea how it looks. Now I need matching ones with the wheels - Avery or 3M has a close Vinyl ;-)

Ooh, jury very much out here. What seems "obvious" or like it will have to be better is almost harder to judge with a gold/bronze that's close but no cigar/too close. Right now, still liking the white better. Something about the unexpected/tension of it. If I try to think of other colors that could do that, most (red, strong blues, strong greens, yellows, oranges, purples) seem like they wouldn't be able to carry off what the white does. Dark blue or dark green with wheel-matching lettering could get interesting, but I am not sure it would match the white as your stripes don't have the extra stripes to carry off the two-color treatment (which is what I like about them). Carry on with your experiment, though you may have a tough time exceeding your original vision...which was so very unexpectedly attractive to these eyes.

EDIT: Ah, I went back and looked at the design of your stripes back to back. I greatly prefer your previous ones—they're less "911R me too" and more artful/graphic. But I still think they might be fabulous in the right bronze. Mainly, I love that you're experimenting with this...

Killed some bugs, driving west of Madison amongst the farmland. Then had to wash once home

Enjoyed the nice CT weather yesterday and had some fun with my 13 year old daughter as co-pilot. Found a fantastic uphill right hander that *almost* made up for the continued track hiatus. Great way for the car to turn 6k miles. The car is still wearing all the markings of its last day at LRP in Nov. Combination of being super lazy about washing cars and kind of preferring how it looks with rubber marks splattered all over. “Driven not polished.”

(this is not a dig at people who like clean cars)

Glad to see you out and about my friend. Did that run with my friend about 3 weeks ago. We stopped for a break on the side of the road and were treated to a huge convoy of Turbos, GT3s and even an i8 that passed by. Maybe we'll get to an event later this summer.

Look me up for the next spin. I move quickly and distancing should not be a problem!

I know the exact intersection you're stopped at. Great driving roads in that area - done them many times when I lived in Norwalk. I also use to ride my bicycle on the roads around the reservoir. The only problems were the narrow roads and all those d#*m Porsches zooming around.

Hehehe, I'm always mindful of bikers, cyclists, and snobby hikers. The sports exhaust is a great safety feature, announcing the impending appearance of a wild beast!
