Went to a drive down the coast highway 1 over the weekend... nice to just get out and get some sun with the wifey. On the way back home, got accompanied by a bunch of old school hot rods. Was sweet, one vega had a serious engine that even on idle, had our car shaking and can feel idle on your chest, was one serious big block me thinks.
Not the best weather today but a nice drive to a great BBQ joint in Newton Iowa. Covered about 200 miles of country roads. I had "the other car" (Z8) this time, but still a lot of 991 content...
Went for a drive yesterday after rebooting the PCM on the car. Great weather awesome mountain roads 417 mile round trip.
This looks like AZ, where is this? I live here too! I was thinking we should arrange a “short” pcar drive in the near future. I am thinking about creating a regional thread on the topic soon.
VTGT I live in Yuma, AZ but that is Hwy 74 from Palm Springs to Ribbonwood, CA then 371 to 79 to Julian, CA and back on I-8 E to Yuma.
It was an awesome drive.
