My car buddy is also a photographer and wanted to do a quick shoot of my new to me Turbo. Eventually we'll drive further out and get roll shots but thought I'd add these.
Summertime, and the livin' is easy Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high Oh, your daddy's rich and your ma is good-lookin' So hush, little baby, don't you cry
Yesterday, my wife and I got two tickets to Paradise... okay, actually we just drove up, up, up to a popular spot named Paradise in Mt. Rainier National Park. There were lots of of wildflowers, and we even saw a bear right outside the visitor center. The Mountain wasn't out, though.

I was just happy that I found a parking spot
Awesome. How was it? Been thinking about driving up there

It's beautiful, with lots of easy trails if you want to wander around - but it's a lot more crowded than I recall it being just a few years ago. I suspect weekends are the worst. I was pleased to find that the road to Paradise (clearly paved with good intentions) from the Nisqually entrance was in very, very good condition. But don't go with any expectations that you'll get a spirited drive through the twisties since there are viewpoints and trailheads and crossings along the way and plenty of hikers that you have to keep an eye out for. No worries, though, since there's always a Subaru going way below the speed limit to keep you in check.
