felt a bit out of it this week, realized I hadn't gone for a drive in some time. Swung by Ojai Valley Inn for a beautiful beer & lunch, then up the legendary 33 and then back to LA. Got clobbered by the 405 on the way back but was totally worth it, just what the doctor ordered

Found another mean green machine during my last drive

I was just sitting next to this guy bragging on being faster than him. (In his prime, he was 2200 kts faster than my 997 GTS.) Well, the left engine started cranking, and I apparently captured the last breath of this Blackbird. (Wink wink) Must have pissed him off.
I am on the wrong coast! The pics everyone posts of the west coast are unreal. The entire coast, from Cali to Washington, heck even into CA. East coast is alright, but man I’m jealous.

We are literally on the “right” coast which makes the other side the wrong one.
There are freakishly beautiful areas of NJ (hard for me to admit) and you’re within an easy drive of even more amazing scenery all over the Northeast and the rest of the East coast (saving FL perhaps).
