DIY: Lightly scuff surface and edges of your reflectors with (red) 3M scotchbrite pads (you can also use household type). Secure the underside of your reflectors with tape, dum-dum, or ? to a 4x4, full spray paint can or ? This will prevent your reflectors from getting blown off from the slight force of spraying. Clean, then spray (edges first !) two coats of adhesion promoter, (note: the reflectors will get shiny again-that's the adhesion promoter doing it's job !) then three PTM base coats and finally one coat of high gloss clear. (Follow instruction's on each can for dry time between coats, room temp, etc). Let dry for a full day and carefully re-install. Adhesion promoter $7.95, your color basecoat $19.95, high gloss clear coat $7.95 shipping approx. $10.00. Total: $ 45.85 and plenty of product left over for misc. jobs, re: key fob's, touch-up paint, etc. Note: I used Dupli-Color high gloss clearcoat because it was on the shelf. Would advise ordering everything from one source for continuity and to save on shipping. I used: http://www.automotivetouchup.com/tou...sche/2015/911/ (no affiliation) T

Great idea! Spray paint reflectors for $30 with factory color instead of paying $200 plus. I like.

I was listening to The Cure on Pandora when I clicked on (Love Story [extended mix version]).
IMO, I'd wouldn't drain the brake fluid. I'd plug the lines when I removed the calipers and then bleed them normally after the calipers returned from powder coating. I like the silver ones.

Ty. Pry off the small oval shaped rubber cover on the underside of hood just below the emblem. You will then see 2 speed nuts to remove. Keep the hood level (so the speed nuts don't get lost in your hood) and carefully remove the 2 speed nuts straight down with a 3/8 drive and short extension. (not sure if nuts are 12mm or ?) There is some goo around the nuts, so keep a needle nose pliers within reach to pull the nuts out of the openings when the socket is drawn down. T

Nice stable you have there Should take approx 10-15 minutes for this small project. Pics of hood posts are in 51 & 53 above. Sorry, back in TX at this time. Hopefully will be back to CT (where the GTS resides) in Oct. T
