Quote from post 32 above: Hey Gudrun, here is my Carmine GTS
Glad you remembered Paul Saw a Carmine coupe a few years back and that is one stunning color T
Transport delivered Gudrun yesterday without drama. Looking forward to cruising NE starting in April. Clear LED's markers, etc., ordered T

Thinking on a primary set of rims. Looking at the F5's (5-spoke) and F5 Spyder's (10-spoke) from the Finspeed lineup: http://finspeed.com/wheels/ T

Thinking on a second set of rims. Looking at the F5's (5-spoke) and F5 Spyder's (10-spoke) from the Finspeed lineup: http://finspeed.com/wheels/ Can option in various colors, finishes, etc., to your liking. Think I have my mind made up Which do you prefer ? T

Agree. The 10 spokes are beautiful. Hand brushed finish and either matt or gloss top coat.T

Thanks guys. Took Gudrun over to Porsche of Wallingford (3 minutes away) this morning for what I thought would be a minor warranty claim. One of the rear deckled slats came a bit loose and they replaced under warranty-no charge. Took a quick look at the invoice and IIRC just the part was $ 1600+ ouch ! Asked if I could keep the broken grill to mess with and they said they would need to send it back to Porsche. Oh well gave it shot. Pretty sure about a dollar's worth of JB Weld would have done the trick. Cab very similar to the past 50th in ride quality, torsional rigidity (which surprised me) etc. Do look for any opportunity to take family members and friends for there slightly scarry rides. Had a look at it's big brother, a TTS in same color combo and think clear tail lights and PTM rear reflectors may be in Gudrun's future. PM 77tony if interested in swapping your clears for my red tail lights (note: edited rear reflectors on the TTS to mimic PTM rear reflectors) T
