>Beautiful wheels and I'm sure they're super light. You didn't get black. Just wondering why<<
Presumably because he likes silver wheels. Black wheels are so overdone. Even after all this time, every time I see a car with black wheels it reminds me of a guy in shorts, wearing white tennis shoes with black socks.

But that's just me.

I think black wheels are fine, but did want something different and why I purchased the Heritage wheels. I also purchased Turbo wheels for my Summer set on the Boxster vs the black Carerra wheels that were stock. Those are now my Winter set for that car. The Turbo S wheels will be my Winter set for the .1.
diamondcarmats.com I have them in both cars. There are other "brands", though I suspect they're all made in the same factory in Asia somewhere. There is however, one brand, which I can't remember ATM, that has some nicer features, including embossed and embroidered logos and personalization if wanted. They also have carpeted inserts that can overlay the quilted floor section. I believe another Lister posted them here in the forum.
Thanks for sharing, do you feel they hold up over time?

They are pretty durable. Spills clean up easily. You can always place carpeted mats over them in the footwells and still have the quilted look as a surround. The pedal area on the driver side has a rubber wear area as well. They're not WeatherTech but they're well made and I think they'll hold up under normal use. Have them in the Boxster for over a year and they look new.

My Carrera GTS is Miami Blue. I've thought about going with a different color...maybe a titanium or something....I just thing Miami Blue really only works with black. I'm reluctant to drop thousands on wheels and hate the way it looks.

I have Fuch style center lock wheels I purchased here on the marketplace. They have silver spokes with gunmetal. Been thinking I'd get them powered coated so they're silver with satin black to pick up all of the black trim bits. Now I'm rethinking that.
I really don't like black wheels, since my car is a GTS, they came with black wheels. IMO, they look like 4 spare wheels. hides the beautiful design of the wheels. I didn't want to spend all this money on wheels and then hide them in black. Plat silver makes them pop. I may paint them Porsche white gold in the future. But no black for sure #makesilverwheelsgreatagain
Black wheels are so overdone, and IMHO look terrible. Up close they show all the dust and dirt more than lighter colored wheels and from a distance it looks like just a black circle with no detail.
I think the sentiment that black wheels "look terrible" or what ever, is a bit over the top. There are some member cars that look pretty amazing with black wheels. Juans car is a pretty good example.
Both my GTS came with black wheels. Those sets are now Winter sets, but I do like the change when it occurs for the season. Each give the cars a different character. JMO as usual
Silver and bronze wheels are so overdone, and IMHO look terrible. Up close they show all the dust and dirt more than darker colored wheels and from a distance it looks like just a white/brass circle with no detail.
Rennlights refinished my base non-PLDS xenon lights. New lenses to replace the old sandblasted/micro cracked lenses. The new lenses also have a darker black metallic trim, and blacked-out interiors to mimic GTS headlights at a fraction of the cost.
