Just got a set of snow tires and wheels and they are seriously wiiiiiddddeee, the widest snow tires I’ve ever had. Heck, my rear snow tires are wider than the rear summer tires on my last F80M3!
Same for me - the widest tire I've ever had on a car in the past was a 285 - but for some reason these seem ENORMOUS, especially for a "downsized" winter set . I guess I've just never seen tires this wide off the car before.
nice looking tire,,but we dont get snow here...i have to drive 30 miles to Tahoe,,they are bone dry on snow so far this year..today its gonna be 75 here...
I got them from Amazon a while back. They're more expensive now. (see link above) At the price I paid, it's a cheap way to get the job done. But they are too tall so I have to:
1. Jack up the car high enough to get the tire a few inches off the ground
2. Place support under the tire and lower the car on it
3. Remove the low-profile jack and now place the jack stand/bottle jack there
I would choose an easier way if I were buying today.
