Pit speed is a button you'd press in a dedicated race car to limit the speed of the car to the exact speed limit in the pit lane.
If you exceed the pit lane speed limit, you'll get a penalty. It's for safety for the pit crews.
Years ago, with no pit speed limit, cars could fly in as fast as they wanted to and it would be dangerous if a driver somehow lost control and crashed into the garage or pit crew members.

Dealer wanted $1300 + tax for service on the 911 and Boxster.... $160 for the supplies! PSA Walmart has 12 quarts of oil for 50$ and O’Reilly has 5 quart containers for 20$ shipped with their fall coupon.

Thanks. I didn't know that cigars can cause cancer. because of your comment I'll throw all mine away and never smoke another one again. Also, I'll be sure to make rude remarks like that to anyone I see with one.

Just got a set of snow tires and wheels and they are seriously wiiiiiddddeee, the widest snow tires I’ve ever had. Heck, my rear snow tires are wider than the rear summer tires on my last F80M3!

- Sometimes this distance can be referred to as pad height, or how tall a pad is. Brake pads from different manufacturers come in different radial depths. For example, the Ferodo pads for the front of the base 991 is the FCP4805: https://ecat.ferodoracing.com/produc...s/code/FCP4805 That pad has a radial depth/friction puck height of 59.8mm. When installed, that pad would come all the way down to the point where it was almost touching
- When you have a large unswept area of disc close to the disc hat, that area can run colder than the portion of the disc that is being swept by the pad. That can create a temperature gradient in the disc at track temps, and cause cracking. For heavy track use, we'd recommend running a pad with a taller radial depth that doesn't leave as much disc unswept.
