I'd also be interested in what you lost after install.
Thanks!

So far, I can tell that I've lost the following:
  • Compass option on dash display (didn't realize this was configurable as one of the display lines above the coolant/oil temp views until after swapping out PCM)
  • Map on dash display
  • I believe the phone/BT connection and radio/media info on the dash display
  • My HU does not have built in navigation, so I only technically get offline maps I download via Google Maps
  • My HU also does not have DVD or CD, so that too
  • Parking sensor view (but the parking sensor beeps still work)
  • Sport chrono PCM functionality (but the G-meter still works in the dash)
    • I haven't tried launch control, but I suspect that isn't tied to the PCM
Those are the main ones I can tell so far.

Could be worse things for sure!

My Alfa 4C Spider doesn’t use a gas cap. Pretty neat trick every time I fill it up.

Neither does any Ford in America. It’s very nice, but not novel....

I went from Sport Cup 2’s to the new version of the 888’s

R888R

no downside to them as they are not loud like the old triple eights....and they GRIP...the new R888R get up to temp faster and easier too

The wheel choice depends on how hardcore you're looking to go on the track. If absolute best lap times are your goal then good place to start are the HRE R101 Lightweights that come in at under 18 lbs each.

Or you could go ultra light weight by going with LiteSpeed Magnesium wheels. VERY attractive pricing too.
You can go all out with mag centers and CF barrels too.
https://www.litespeedracing.com/rs5

20x9 around 17lbs.
20x11.5 about 19lbs.

What approximately does attractive pricing look like?

Bob

Last I was quoted in June. Not sure if the prices have gone up or not, but it is an absolutely stellar deal. Plus, you can customize your wheels for extra $.
Some of the finishes in the pics I posted are optional extras (CF applied to the centers). You can do a CF barrel for a three piece as well, but the prices shown below are for straight aluminum or magnesium.
Set of 4 monoblock forged aluminum : $4500 plus shipping
Set of 4 monoblock forged magnesium : $6900 plus shipping
Set of 4 three piece forged aluminum: $5500 plus shipping
Set of 4 three piece forged magnesium : $7900 plus shipping

Not only did I just buy my first 911 but I also picked up a new Fabspeed Supersport exhaust, 5mm front and 8mm rear spacers, H&R springs, clear led side markers, wind diffusers, red S, red painted ignition switch. Had to open up the exhaust, get the stance right and add some personal touches.

Car is a 2012 991 C2S, PDK with all the right performance parts minus the Porsche performance exhaust. One owner car with only 19150.

Well kudos to you!
Looks like someone did their research instead of just starting their first post and asking people same age old questions over and over. Good going.
Nice shopping list. Welcome to the club, drive fast, drive safe. Whatever you do, make sure you drive it.
