Most dealers have a pretty good idea of delivery. Mine came in a few weeks after when I was told it would come when I placed the order. Order was locked May 22, expected delivery late July early August, actual pick up from Dealer Aug. 11.

I have constructed YouTube Playlists for "991.2", "Older 911", and "Other Car Stuff" with dozen of videos each. The amount of time I'm spending re-re-watching reviews and POV driving videos -- hell, even videos of people washing 911s -- is absurd. Ideally, I'd just forget about this and be pleasantly surprised in 5 months.

Here is a really great video for your viewing pleasure:

Burning Brakes
Example 1:
White gauges on my 996.2 Seal Grey/black C2:
With the old school amber lighting they were great at night:
Example 2:
My 993 TT Black/black:
Again with the amber at night they were ok(bulbs in 993 were DIM even on max):
Example 3:
My white/black 997.1 TT Cab with the white gauges. Rest of car was a total white and black theme with painted center console and white seat shell backs and platinum stitching(looked white). Was a really striking car(and a rare TT Cab with a manual transmission!) that I sold for a nice profit but that's a another story...
Not the best pic but:
On the 997 they were fine during the day, the dark numbers contrast on the white dials nicely but early am/dusk/night I found them to be lacking since they switched to white illumination.
I couldn't find a pic of white with white LED illumination on google but this white on black shows how great the contrast is and why I broke with tradition and opted for the all black gauges on my white Targa 4S:
Even if I could find one I think it would be hard for the camera to show what it looks like in real life since the flash would wipe out the back light and with no flash the dials would look grey or black. Would need the right exposure setting and lighting condition to capture it correctly.
Anyhow the Targa has the retro look by default, helped along by the new (old style) grill slats they used for the rear intake, so I thought the all black gauges fit more with the classic/retro look since the white gauges weren't introduced from the factory until the 993 which is the same time the true Targa died.
