Liking the GT Wheel now. Although only like 1/3" inch smaller. Is it thicker?? Not sure why they didn't put a 12 o'clock mark there. Seems like they're just doing it for the GT cars now.

SC console pictured.

I can only think of one in the configuration in the picture and that is the Front Axle Lift. So that leaves 4 slots open that don't look very nice ...

@LCW so only buttons standard are Front Lift Axle ? And the sports exhaust ?

Just spoke to a couple dealers who are back from Atlanta, two days extensively driving and testing the car, check out the graph sent, the power band is mental, and its full torque at 1600 RPM. He stated obvious, "people can say its faster slower, louder, quieter, just wait till you see this think perform and sound."

What I meant is that the car in the picture kindly provided by STG has sport chrono, which puts the sport and sport+ selector on the Manettino- excuse me mode switch - and removes the buttons from the console. This car also has PSE so you find the PSE button on the right. By my estimation, there is only one more option that would add a button to the console and that is the front axle lift system. So if you were to check ALL the boxes of options, you would still be left with 4 blanks... by my estimation... that's all I am saying... you can draw your own conclusions if you like it or not... I personally don't because it makes you feel Porsche went for cutting costs by simplifying their supply chain....

in regards to the power delivery... I drove the car twice on two test drives and I am even more convinced and thrilled about my inbound car... :-)

LCW... You are correct. Only the lift button.

Or, you can get creative ....

so typically in most manufacturers, the more options boxes you check the fewer blanks you get on a console or dash... in this case you check ALL the options boxes and you are left with more blanks than you would have had you checked no boxes (ie 4 blanks)... as someone stated previously, I hope this will get fixed in MY 2018

They won't "fix" it until the next generation if that. Probably will be all touch screen or digital. Until then, see my sicker options above ^^

Well, I am going to have a use for at least two of the blank buttons (I think my build has three blanks).

I am getting a Radar Detector (either K40 Or Passport 9500ci) and possibly a front camera installed. One of the buttons will operate mute/off/on of the radar detector and the other will be on/off for the camera.

Great use for them. Nick from Musicar does a lot of those mods.

Do the Beltronics and ALP laser jammers. Best set up. No K40. Check out Nick's posts on this board. Even has a camera one going now. Good stuff.

That sums up why I am getting the 991.2. Big torque that morphs into good horsepower, just like my KTM 1290 motorcycle. Huge fun!
