I love the base wheels, especially on darker colors, but still on the fence. They do offer more winter options and I assume a slightly better ride, but I figure I could always just get a set of 19 winter wheels.

Three Wheelin'
Possibly the longest delivery time for a core Carrera model (anyone waited longer), I finally received my C4S (apparently only the 2nd C4S delivered in Thailand). Order was placed mid-December 2015, delivered just over 10 months later on 29th Sept. Very happy with the colour choices especially the 2-tone full leather luxor/black option which was horrendously expensive with Thai import tax at approx 14,000 USD equivalent! Here's some pics from collection day. Some more internal ones to follow.

Me too. Love Agate, Blk/Bordeaux after seeing it at the dealership on a Turbo. Very classy.

Folks, from experience, how long is the "actual" wait from time it gets to the port in germany till the time it gets to your dealer (if there are no delays)?

Post-weekend scramble update: dealer indicates that my build is expected to enter the body shop around Nov 15th.
From what I can read online, the wait time from "entering the body shop" to a west coast delivery is around 6-8 weeks. Does that sound about right to you guys?
Assuming the longer end of the range, because holidays and who knows what else, would put me at mid-to-late January. If everything comes up Millhouse, dad has a pretty great Christmas present.
