I like the new Boxster headlamp shape ...their linear slanted inner edges now " point" upwards to the fender peaks, accentuating sense of width and at same time point downward the other way terminating in the scalloped out sharp tearduct in the fascia gives a waterfall effect to increase sense of lowness and forward mvement

Wishful thinking I fear. The pic is not crisp enough to distinguish vertical vs horizontal slats and unfortunately, I don't think there's any reason to assume they're horizontal. This is probably the first complete reveal of the taillights though. I thought that they'd lose the 991.1's sleekness, but they may be ok after all.

Thanks...just trying to put in words what I think the stylists are trying to convey ...they think these things through to excruciating detail ....but ....many times marketing walks in and mucks it up ...with input like " you expect me to sell that ? ...it needs more aggressive ridges and warts to appeal to the ADHD fanboi crowd on the internet " ...ergo the new front and rear of the 991.2 vs the .1
