Wishful thinking I fear. The pic is not crisp enough to distinguish vertical vs horizontal slats and unfortunately, I don't think there's any reason to assume they're horizontal. This is probably the first complete reveal of the taillights though. I thought that they'd lose the 991.1's sleekness, but they may be ok after all.

 

I think we can all agree Porsche is amazing at marketing... this is a truly creative "accidental" unveiling... !!

 

First image I've seen of those wheels, they look interesting if perhaps a bit hard to clean...

 

At the entrance of the Porsche Museum/Factory in Zuffenhausen, and in Goodwood 2013-style...

 

They're reminiscent of the 20" RS Spyder Design wheels available on the Macan. I like them!

Thanks...just trying to put in words what I think the stylists are trying to convey ...they think these things through to excruciating detail ....but ....many times marketing walks in and mucks it up ...with input like " you expect me to sell that ? ...it needs more aggressive ridges and warts to appeal to the ADHD fanboi crowd on the internet " ...ergo the new front and rear of the 991.2 vs the .1

I really don't like the head lights. Ruins the front. Tuna eyes on a hot girl can destroy her self esteem. I really hope that's not the final build.
