FYI, the Macan S engine is a 3.0L V6 and the Macan Turbo has a 3.6L V6.

I still think there will be a 2.7L and 3.0L flat six in the 911 but we'll see...

On that note any bets yet on what the price increase will look like?

991.2 Carrera base MSRP at ~$89.5? Carrera S just under $100?

I hope the GT3 doesn't go above $140 base...

I forgot about the displacement difference! its the same 3.6 in the Macan Turbo and the Cayenne GTS though isnt it, and the Cayenne I believe is +40bhp is it not?

I've never really seen a base 911.

I'd say $110K for a 991.2 Carrera and $135K for a Carrera S.

The 991.2 GT3 will be well above $175K.

That's correct Larry, 400hp for the Macan Turbo and 440hp for the Cayenne GTS from was appears to be the same engine.

Do you know how to interpret the phrase "base MSRP"?

And LOL at the GT3 conjecture. Bang on 991.1 RS base.

Yes, I understand and can communicate in the English language. I said price as produced MSRP. I said that I have never seen one delivered in "base MSRP".

I am not sure what you mean by "LOL at the GT3" and "Bang on the 991.1 RS base". Please fully explain exactly what you are saying.

Default 991.2 "undisguised"

The cayenne and panamera didn't have huge price increases anywhere near $35k more. I think the S starts at $98,900 currently - or somewhat. Also with the price increase of those models came more standard equipment.

Base prices will go up a bit. Around 5K I'm guessing. The ala carte option list will have their increases as well.

Well let me show you one.

Here's my base '14 991 C2. Only options are 20" wheels and PDK. In Canada that will still run you about $100,000 before tax. $113,000 with tax.

$115,000 in BC where the government asks us to bend over just a little further and charge 15% luxury tax.
