Okay, it wasn't that long, but I hate an information vacuum.

July production and mid-May lock date for me. Unless something happens I'll be at Rennsport with it.

Passing on the extended interior package, but likely to opt in for the indoor cover.

And it'll have three pedals.

Very exciting.

Nice (jealous) - I'll hope to see it around!

What was the verdict on option availability?

Which dealer did you end up using and how did that "negotiation" go?

Thanks. I'm honestly humbled with the opportunity.

Rector is my dealer and the negotiating is still future tense. My schedule has been a bit of a nightmare, but looks like I'll get to the dealer to try to finalize the order on Friday. I figure worst case is msrp / hopefully worst case won't happen.

I'll keep y'all posted.

I'm headed to my dealer (Circle) to finalize things on Friday as well. I did;t get the production dates on the phone. I'm also hoping they have some more information on the available options. I'll be passing on the Club Coupe options, but would like to add Sport PASM, and some additional color keyed exterior bits. Prepared to pay MSRP, but not more - shooting for a 3%-4% discount.

Why would you not shoot for a higher discount than 4%. This is an incremental unit for the dealership and if you did not win the Lottery, they would get nothing. Too bad you cannot shop the unit with some other dealers.

Since I did not get the call/email, I am just speculating, with a high degree of envy. Congrats on the opportunity to have a special GTS.

Have any of your dealers mentioned the availability of European Delivery for the GTS Club Coupe?

I was told there will be a special Euro Delivery just for Club Coupe owners organized by Dr. Wolfgang Porsche.

Anyone heard the same thing?

No, I haven't heard anything. But I'm curious now, if they are doing something special.

Yes, and so it continues, the good news is now I can see the car in person this weekend at California "Festival of Speed" at Fontana Raceway FYI if any of the winners or contestants to know, as it is being displayed there for the event.

I bet we could start a list here of 10 people that entered but not yet picked and would buy the Club Coupe given the chance. I'll start:

1.jvmax
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.

Surprised at the lower acceptance rate for Round 3. I wonder if interest level is losing its momentum as time passes.

Round 1: 26 out of 59 Acceptance rate of 44%;

Round 2: 10 out of 23 Acceptance rate of 43%

Round 3: 3 out of 13 Acceptance rate of 23%

I suspect we have a few more rounds after Round 4.

Incorrect. 1st round acceptance was 36 out of 59 or 61%. Take rate is plunging faster than you thought with each round (take rate drops by ~20% per week). If rejections continue at this increasing rate, during this next round only 1 will be accepted and there will be 9 left for Rd. 5. The timeline will stretch out to infinity if this curve is followed. My GT4 allocation will come up before I have a chance to buy this car.

Same on both counts for me. Haven't heard, will ask tomorrow, curious and interested.
