Default gts club coupe message

Yes the message this morning was for those registered but not picked in the initial drawing of the first 59 cars. With the declines they need to keep drawing until all the cars are accounted for....accepted.

I had just gotten over not getting the call or email as I am a sucker for cool bright blues and this is one of them as soon as I saw it, I have owned my 993 for 13 years because of the color and still love the car but I also wondered how I would react if I had gotten the email and now seeing that 23 winners passed so not such an easy decision. I now have to wait until Monday for the next selection of winners but I think if I get the call this time I will make the commitment as having two cool blue cars would make me smile twice as much.

too bad I did not get picked in the first round, hope to be one of the 23 next Monday.

if anyone of you got picked and did not want it, please ask Vu if you can transfer to me. Much appreciated!

if there is anyone that doubt the value of club coupe, then let me tell you my story.

I got one of the 50 2006 club coupe, the only one in my province British Columbia. The feeling of driving a unique car that only you have in your province is priceless. Whether or not this car will appreciate or depreciate is totally irrelevant, as nobody should sell their club coupe.

Good luck Tim.

And thanks for sharing about the '06 Club Coupe!

I believe the rules of the drawing are clear that the right to buy the car is not transferable.

Thanks Tom. I am well aware of that. I wrote that out of desperation.

Jupjai is a colleague of mine. If he got picked, he can always buy it and then sell it to me later.

Anyway, passed noon time here, no phone calls or emails, guess I did not get lucky. Crossing my fingers that there will be a third round.

Who knows what's happening, Tim, but I didn't get the email last Monday until almost the end of the Day, Eastern / 2:00 Pacific.

And I hope to God there's not a third round because I'd love to get the ordering process started... and I don't think it does until all 59 are identified.

Sorry - implied but not said was, "I seriously hope you're picked in round two because..."

I was hoping to get the email as well but no dice. It will be interesting to see how many get passed the second time around. I am ready to pull the trigger though if I get the call, I have Tim's addiction as well as I gravitate only to blue cars and this one is a bit special.

Ultimately, even though the car checked out the wife and I (notice the order of those two people? ) decided a beach house was more in order at that time. Fast forward 5 years and the 911RS has gone up about $160,000 in value! WoooHooo!

But the beach house has gone up 480,000 above our cost, including furniture, taxes, etc. (we had an unsolicited written offer in hand at that time.)

Cars just never really make any sense.
You got that right. At the RM auction at Amelia - Lot 182 was a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring that sold for $891,000!

There also was a Club Coupe on the grounds. The blue really stood out as something unique.
