That’s either gotta be a scam or the deal of the century. Has anyone called on it?

I’d say salvage title (says “no accidents,” but could be a theft recovery especially considering the extent of the mods), but even for that it’s a solid deal.

EDIT: Noticed it says clean title.

Some of these "questionable" ads should be confirmed before posting. Basing opinions off of scam ads isn't good for weighing market pricing.

That was listed over 6 months ago for a lot more money. Thinking a scammer stole the person's ad and reposted it.

I wouldn't hold your breath unless you get very lucky and find a 2012.5 base model, outlandish color combination, history of accidents and about 80k miles.

Correct. You can find a Porsche for that $$. Which one is open for discussion at certain price points. Good luck and keep us posted.

Price/build aside, do some due diligence on Vroom before pulling the trigger. Their prices seem to be better than their reputation.

Thanks...will do some diligence on vroom. General problems I have read about seem to be in paperwork and sometimes in getting the car itself.

Trying to figure out if the cars are good.. Has anyone had a "poor" experience with the car itself?

TerryC4S was looking at a vroom car early this month. Haven't read anything after posting an inquiry here. Maybe you can send him a dm to see what his experience has been

Definitely the majority of the compaints are of the 'they said ten days, I'm still waiting at thirty" and "it's been six months without a title" variety.

I was also a bit put off when I talked to one of the telephone sales guys there about a car, trying to find out some basic info like "does it have two keys, does it have manuals, are there any significant scratches or blemishes on the car". The answers were "don't know and no way to find out, I'm in a call center and have no idea even what state the car is in" for the manuals/keys and "all are cars are perfect, no scratches anywhere, even though I've never laid eyes on it" for the condition, which is wholly unbelievable.

Again, cars seem cheap, photos seem good, return policy seems generous... It sounds like the risk is if they live up to their commitments and not tie up $80K of your cash for potentially a couple of months while they try to ship you a car which you end up possibly having to return if it doesn't meet expectations...

All of the above is speculation, I haven't bought a car from them. If you do find folks who have had great experiences buying high end cars from them (or if you buy one yourself), circle back and let us at HFS know!
