Something is fishy. I'll buy the car if no accident even though I already have a 911 4S. LOL I tried calling the number listed and it says "The Magic Jack customer is not available." Too good to be true.

The 15,000 miles claim came from Cars.com btw. I could not find any mention of it on the seller's website and the picture of the dashboard has the dials blurred. So, for this one, a CarFax is a necessity if it is a legit car
Hi Everyone! I'm finally part of the Porsche fam Thanks to this thread I finally picked one up. Like quite a few people, I wanted a GTS and the majority were listed for 100k+ so very few made it to this thread. I don't think I got a smoking deal, but I've had a hard time finding what I like here in Socal so overall I'm happy with my purchase.
2015 GTS, CPO, 29k~ miles. They were asking 105k and settled on 97k + Clear Tail Lights /w Installation (waiting for parts now). Not included was the 1700 clear bra which I'm now reconsidering, but if it's anything like my S2000 the front is going to get wrecked here...
Oh i didn't know that... so it has LED lights? Just no PDLS +?
No LED lights, that's still an option, but it has the standard PDLS. You can confirm with the dealer, but mine said yes and I drove it today and was pretty sure it was swiveling lol. I think the LED stacked looks cool, but personally it wasn't a must have.

And thanks everyone! I did pay $97k + installed clear rear lights (~$500-$1200) so I think it's possible to get a GTS for $95k or less depending on the age/condition/location.
Cars.com seems particularly bad in my opinion about letting scammer posts stay listed. They make it difficult to report and are slow to remove.
Agree. I've seen a few times where legit small time used car dealers websites have been taken over or hacked to post fraudulent listings too. We've seen all these scams and talked about them on HFS over the years.
As far as dealer cars being posted like GT3's, etc at MSRP or whatever.
Cars.com automatically auto loads dealers incoming cars many times. Those who use the service. That's why you see NEW cars show up that are sold already. I saw this a lot with the 999.1 GTS's. I don't really look at new car listings too often.
As FYI: The moderators have officially made a 992 forum page to discuss the next generation 911 which will be announced this year sometime. Not really relevant here, but just a piece of info.
Also ... I've been swamped with new work opportunities, life, etc. Sorry, I am not taking any private messages. Plan to still post here, but can't take on any additional on the side buying advice, etc. I have helped many guys over the years, but too time consuming now. Plus, many disappear afterwords and aren't seen around RL after the fact.
This thread is a GREAT place to ask questions and get advice. The whole point of it. So many great contributors here. Some long time guys are still around which is much appreciated
I'm a comparative newbie, and in the U.K., but still want to say thanks and to acknowledge the very many hours that you have clearly devoted to this, for the benefit of forum members and contributors!
My first 991 was a 991.1 C2. Lovely car. I did 11,000 miles in it in 8 months. Plus I spent out on the full Sport Design kit - ducktail, SD mirrors and front spoiler. Should never have changed it for my 2017 Panamera 4!
Ah well. We live and learn! Now really looking forward to my new Carrera T, due to arrive next month.
What I have noticed here in the UK is that the 991.1 GTS and GT3 models are holding up really well.
Cheapest 991.1 GT3 in the UK is currently a 2013 model with 17,500 miles. Asking price £109,890.
...or roughly $151,648...
Don't know how that compares with 991.1 GT3s in the US?
