Here is my thought, relative to what I think my low mileage CPO 2015 C2S warrantied through 3/21 is worth. This one has the Aerocup Kit, but lacks SPASM and PSE, and that MF steering wheel needs to be changed. It better be CPO, which would be something like one year less than mine. So I think $90k is a more realistic price. ...unless 991.1 prices have just recently moved up more than I am aware.

EDIT: I've officially paid the $900 transer fee to get this car down here. I hope it all works out.
Earlier this morning there was 13 or 14 911 4S with X51 powerkit PDLS + other goodies that sold for 72K. Missed out on that one.
I just shipped my C2S from our Chicago summer home to our Orlando winter home for $600. Where was you shopping from/to?

This is great news. Within 30 minutes of my post you had paid the transfer fee. I hope the car exceeds your expectations. This should be a diamond in the rough!

The 911 is located in Connecticut, I am located in Arizona.

I had a 911 transfered from Henderson NV to the Arizona location for free.

The $923 transfer hurt a little but well worth it.

Yes sir. There have been so many 911's that slipped through my hands lately because I didn't act fast enough. Some would sell within minutes/hours/ a day within first contact with the dealer.

My brother sent me the link and I immediately put in the transfer request.. As soon as I submit the request online I checked this thread and saw that it was posted.

You guys are FAST.

I also really hope this car will blow me away, I love all the options on this car!

Thank you for everything.

I saw that one pretty early today as well... Nice car, and could of had it transferred to Colorado for free as it's AWD. Love that CarMax Colorado feature! Right now i'm still loving the Turbo, and sticking to my 'manuals only' must, but it looks like it could be a real winner.

Do inspect it carefully... Every single carmax Porsche I've actually looked at had some notable cosmetic issues, even if they had clean carfaxes. Others have been lucky, but just a case of due dilligence. Carmax is very good about fixing NON COSMETIC issues that come up in the first 30 days for free. Look in the 997 Turbo forum and you'll see a long thread of a guy who bought a carmax turbo that they ended up doing thousands of dollars of repairs on after the sale at no cost.

Tip for those shopping carmax cars...

If a HOT deal shows up, Hit the 'FREE HOLD' button, not the 'REQUEST TRANSFER' button, even if you actually do want to transfer the car. Then call your local carmax, tell them you put the car on hold but really want it transferred.]

Free hold immediately takes the car out of available status.

Request transfer puts a note into your local dealers system, but it DOES NOT take the car out of the available pool. Someone else can grab it out from under you if your local dealer doesn't act quickly. If you hit 'request transfer', and five minutes later someone else hits Free Hold, they will snipe the car out from under you.

Thank you for the advice pfbz.

I am definitely gonna stick my nose in every corner of that car. Rust is my biggest fear.

Any suggestions as to what to look for?

What are the 20" sportdesign wheels? Some google imaging searches comes up with many different results. Will this vehicle come equipped with ventilated seats?

Not going to be any rust on a 2013 C4S unless it took a salt water bath... Not really a concern these days.

Look for body panels that might have been replaced (no vin stickers), signs of paintwork (tape lines, overspray, color match), wheel damage, etc, but by far the biggest issues I've seen with Carmax cars is just general dings/dents/scratches, heavy interior wear and such. Made more difficult as Carmax really doesn't do much detailing on their cars, certainly nowhere near the level of a Porsche dealer selling a used car, so it's often hard to tell what's just grime or buffable paint blemishes vs. non removable defects.

Nothing against owners who just treat their 911 like a tool instead of pampering it, but those aren't the cars I'm looking to buy.

Below is how the wheels look like. I have an almost identical build on my 2013 C4S which comes with heated and ventilated Seats. I’m hoping for the best for you.

Carmax Transfer as stated above. You don't have a shipper choice. Youre also not obligated to buy the car.

Chi to Orlando for $600 is cheap. Who ships for you? Enclosed or open? I'm sure there is a lot of competition this time of year so that could be the reason for the lower price.
