This looks to me like it could qualify for hfs. 7MT 4S with the right options. CPO. Currently at $77k. 29k miles.

That’s Penn4S’s car he just traded in!

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1028...g-sad-day.html

I’d call Frank Tucci if interested. Great guy. He’s a great HFS contact at Porsche of the Main Line. He knows us here

He added the Aerokit Cup package after the fact too.

I love how he made the 4S to TTS decision, and have the car in the garage in like a week. Freaking awesome!

I have a 2012 S Cab with no roof seal problems. I live in Florida where it doesn't rain as often as in Seattle but we get more rain in a month than you do in a year. When it rains here it RAINS.

I know we don't usually list auction cars here, but this is the first 991 I recall seeing on BringATrailer... BAT auctions are quick (7 days) and while cars can have reserves, BAT is pretty picky about the cars they will list for auction and usually won't list them if they have unreasonable reserves, so unlike eBay auctions, a very high percentage of BAT auctions actually result in a transaction.

2016 Base 991
WP0AA2A98GS106270
Lightly optioned manual.
Guards red over black with a black glass roof.
Just over 1,000 miles.

Looks like it was listed on renlist and sold by a dealer eight months and ~1,000 miles ago for something south of $78K
https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...130-miles.html

Evidently the spoiler is broken

Yeah that's very weird. How can a 2 MY old car only have 1K miles is beyond me. Very base spec too (which can be a good thing if you're looking for a stripper).

With such low miles I'd want a CPO just to ensure something's not fishy with it. Otherwise, it looks like a brand new car with less overhead than a highly optioned model.

Mine was 1200 miles and almost 4 years old. Got CPO and car just wasn't driven. I'm second owner.

zero regrets.

If you look at the original Rennlist ad, part of the story is explained. It was a charity raffle car. The auction winner evidently never took physical possession, but the title was transferred into his name and he traded it in towards a GTS, and the dealer sold it again with only some test drive miles as used. Charity raffle also is likely why it was such a minimal build.

Doesn't explain the second owner getting out of it quickly, but certainly not that uncommon for some 911 buyers to not put on many miles and sell them fairly quickly. If the seller chimes in on the BAT auction, I'll post up the info here.

I sold my 991 C2S PDK after maybe 1,000 miles. I realized, for about the 10th time, that I am a manual guy. I keep convincing myself that I can be happy with a PDK, but in reality, it is more like lying to myself, and it always catches up. Got a 3-pedal 911 now!

Do you need CPO? Maybe just pocket the money you saved should anything weird happen? Odds are in your favor!

That's nice, and a manual too! Plus, the steepest part of the depreciation is out of the way; reliability hasn't been a concern with the 991 at any mileage, but it costs a lot less $/mile to drive a 30k mile 991 than a 3k mile 991. I can't understand the obsession with low-mile garage queens, unless we are talking about concours cars that need to be pristine. go enjoy the damn car; install a clear bra and opti-coat if you are worried about cosmetics. A friend of mine just passed 120k on his 997.2 C4S and it has required nothing aside from normal maintenance. He has a 100 mile commute each day and I bet he is enjoying it more than the guy in the slow lane, driving the Nissan because he doesn't want to put miles on his 911.

CPO is nice too. I would buy that and drive the heck out of it for a few years! I bet you could put 15,000 miles a year on it and only take a $4,000 hit per year on depreciation. That is better than most $40,000 US-made vehicles. More reliable too.

Hey guys I'm in the market for a 991.1 C2S and hoping to limit the budget under 90k after-tax(almost 10% where I live). Here are 2 cars that are on top of my list:
1 Heavily optioned 13C2S coupe (PDK/SC/PSE/full leather/premium plus/burmester/carbon interior/aero kit/sunroof/manual sportplus seat etc.) MSRP ~126k with only 9K miles, listed 84k by porsche dealer no CPO. It has 3 previous owners across 2 states which worries me a bit. What do you guys think? This dealer told me it makes more sense if I buy fidelity 7yr/70k platinum vs the 2 yr/50k porsche CPO (4k vs 3k), is it true ?I've seen the fidelity plan mentioned here but not sure if it's giving similar level of peace of mind as the CPO. What would be an reasonable price? I don't feel comfortable anything above 75k given it's almost 5yr old and out of factory warranty, though the mileage is low. 70K I will jump. And if I go this one I def will get some kind of extended warranty, fidelity or something else.

2 well optioned 15C2S cab (PDK/SC/full leather/bose/premium plus/14way seats ) 1 local owner, almost 29k miles with CPO(3yrs left), same asking similar MSRP as previous one.
Since this one got the ext/int color&wheel combo I really like and it is 2 MY newer and got CPO so I'm leaning more towards this one . The only drawback is that the mileage seems a bit high as a 3yr lease return. Should I be concerned given it's serviced regularly? Again thoughts on price? I'm thinking 78~80k, doable?

Please let me know what do you think. Which one is better in your opinion. Coupe/Cab wise I don't have strong preference, let's just say that I'll go cab if everything else is identical. And am I being too aggressive regarding the price? Thanks a lot!
Register the car in Montana to avoid tax?
