Yes, they're a HOT commodity. Losing its soul?? That's the 991.2

Member Doug H posted the following on April 13:
"On Manheim, there is currently the following 991s:
2013 (8)
2015 (16)
2014 (20)
2016 (9)
13 are GT3
13 are Turbos
That's not a lot of NA 991 inventory and most are on wholesale board and not going to auction."
Looks to me current owners are keeping their cars, maybe Porsche leasing is not releasing lease returns or lessees are buying them? maybe dealers are holding inventory for sunnier wheather?

How much value does low mileag add? I have found a 2012.5 with under 5k. They are asking 74,000. That's about 7k more for the low mileage... C2S PDk sport chrono

I would say there is a premium on low mileage of course (not huge overall).
Most of the time the condition of the car is worth it in my opinion.

Great how the VIN searches pull up this thread when I now list all the VIN #'s

Not sure if anyone takes it into consideration, but it's from the NE. For 4 years it's been in CT. Snow, slush, salt? Who knows if it was driven in the winter. I based my decision on cars that are from the south. FL, CA, GA, TX, AZ. I grew up in the NE. I've seen firsthand what can happen if you drive in the winter. If somebody bought it as a personal lease then they may not care if they drive it all winter.

It's been a while. Over 20 years. I spoke to a dealer in Ohio a couple of weeks ago that said they come down to FL to buy high-end cars at auction for that very reason. "Everybody wants a Florida car" were his exact words. Maybe it's just perception.
