Since we're talking about sapphire blue, my GTS made it cross country and is enjoying the pacific northwest. This thing is a beast. I recommend everyone on this thread to get one

I don't see these wheels too often; were they known to be unpopular?
Had Sport Design wheels on my first 991S. They aren't too bad to clean but more of a pain than some of the other wheels (like Carrera Classics) to clean. I didn't like them at first but they grew on me over time. I don't know why, but I think they look better on some colors than others. Love them on black; on yellow doesn't work for me. Have no idea why.

I am not sure why they weren't popular (they are actually on several of the 991 launch cars for some reason) except perhaps for some reason they may look a little dated compared to other styled wheels.

Wheel cleaning becomes much easier after a coat of Opti Gloss Coat or similar, and less dirty water dries on there in the first place. Although it is a hard ceramic coat I find it perfectly safe to apply to your wheels with a bit of practice on a guitar or something.

I think the 991 Sport Design wheels didn't go over big since they're VERY similar to the 997 Turbo Wheel. In addition, the other 991 OEM wheel styles look much better.

Plus, the 991 Sport Design wheels look like a Ferrari or Maserati style wheel.

Nicely composed and beautiful car. Where in the PNW did you land? I'm out that way too.

Sapphire blue price dropping like the temperature. Nice car, started at 98k.
Yeah, nice one. Price is attractive too. Close the deal for $85K and you have a HFS winner

Anyone talked to "Laid Back Jack?

How does one have 74 "feedbacks" on eBay but no comments or a %??

They grow on you... a LOT! I really wanted other wheels when I got mine but now I love them. Also - they look significantly better in person with the contours.

Must say, car looks great

The "open" spoke design is nice as well. I like being able to see calipers and rotors. You've won me over.

luckily on these cars - the subtleties make a big difference and don't cost much in comparison to the car.

I have added:
-Clear LED corners
-SPASM LIP
- plastidip letter on rear billboard

Next year (after I find a job and pay off the IRS...)
-real Black PORSCHE only
-Center radiator
-rennline grills (already have just need to take bumper off)

The center radiator is the most expensive and worth it to me. The black letters are the worst "value" out of all this.

Not to hijack the thread but I keep going back and forth about a sport bumper but really do love my car as is. I came from a super torquey car with high HP - and a chassis incapable of really using it.... so I have no interest in a 991.2

Ok .... the Rennsport GTS is a nice package. Custom color and stickers. But ..... $299K

Worth more than a 991.1 GT3RS??

Really? This kind of craziness with all the mark ups, flipping, etc.... has me concerned about the calm before the storm. I think we'll look back and say we saw it coming. The peak of ridiculousness and overinflated bubble followed by a big correction and a burst bubble. I mean, isn't this the way things looked before the last crashes??

This isn't going to end well ....
