Funny, I'm looking for almost the same car, but I am indifferent on dial color or 18 ways. I have 4 way sport seats in my CaymanS and love them.
Just last night, I too started to seriously consider a new 991.2S with sports package. For ~117k (and maybe a 6% discount on top of that?), I can get a perfect build, very nice wheels, but without full-leather (obviously no alcantara option). When comparing to the white GTS in Florida with shady carfax history for $113k and 8k miles, it's tough to justify. I think GTS cars need to come below 100k to make them better buys than 991.2S cars. Let's not have a NA argument
Comparing a $137K MSRP GTS to a $117K .2 C2S isn't comparing apples to oranges. GTS's are holding steady because of demand as well.
I'll show you $77K-$80K .1 C2S's that are way better deals than a $117K .2 C2S. Less than 5,000 miles, $40K cheaper and higher MSRP. That's my take on it.
We can go around in circles here. Let's move on. The deals featured here are hard to argue against. Plus, guys like the .1 for what it is.

I think the improved performance and aesthetics of the 991.2S is more comparable to the 991.1GTS than the 991.1S. As for comparing MSRPs of these 2 cars, not sure it makes sense. That's like saying a $165k MSRP 991.1S with powerkit, deviated stitching, etc. is better than a $135k GTS with the same config. It's really not. With each model revision, you get more for your money.
Anyway, apologies for getting off topic. I agree that the .1 cars are special. That's why I refresh this thread 200 times a day and have app notifications going on my phone. I think the learning here, for me at least, is that the best deals are with the non-GTS 991.1 cars, where you can get 40k off MSRP. The GTS cars are either too few, too new to the used market, or too much in demand for them to be considered HFS cars... Now watch me go buy a GTS
Here is the best deal I've seen on a GTS thus far. Perfect carfax, ultra low miles, and a 2016. Only problem is wife says no orange:

I just purchased GTS after an exhaustive search with dealers unwilling to budge off unrealistic asking prices ie 120s - got a 16 white/red with 3k miles PDK 132 MSRP one owner at 110- from a P dealer non CPO. Thought I paid 5k too much - found a 15 same car at 100 with manual.

Congrats. Can you share your build sheet? And where is the manual for 100? Still available?
Couldn't get the numbers where I wanted them on the 15 GTS. It seems to be an excellent car if someone else wants to give it a go. The guy I dealt with was great and I wish we could have met up on it, they just didn't allow enough for my trade.
Tl;dr-Didn't buy 15 GTS because of trade allowance. Car is great

Congrats. Red leather or Carmine GTS Interior? Post pics please
