Carfax shows that this car has been bounced around among dealers. Now at a wholesaler. Be careful.
Just like any car do your homework. I assume no sunroof has hurt it with most 911 buyers. Ray Catena is ALSO a Porsche dealer.
Worth investigating as the build is a pretty nice one. This one could have been priced too high in the past.
Many high end sports cars don't tend to stay in one owners possession many times. A lot of impulse buys or serious car buying habits. Some of these nice ones fall through the cracks sometimes and just need a loving owner!
Must have something to do with the color red. There's another 2014 S with mt that i saw Sewlickey in Pittsburgh has with low miles for 84k. It was just sold at Porsche Annapolis about a month or so ago, and now is showing as having been traded by an owner of a little over a month. Either some fickle buyers(possible), or issues. I tend to believe if it's serious issues, it would end up back at the selling dealer, but i would always get an explanation for that kind of movement.

Agree. Homework is important.
Just some clarification points. Richard Catena is a wholesaler. His brother is Ray Catena, a large multi franchise dealer (including Porsche). The two are not business partners.
Also, when reading the Carfax, the car went to a Ford dealer at the very beginning. Maybe purchased by the owner, etc. But odd to me. And then it went from dealer to dealer ending up at a wholesaler. Guards Red and a MT is a nice combination (IMHO).
As a wholesaler, Richard Catena knows the $$$ value of this car in the wholesale/retail market and should be willing to deal.
Really odd. This is the car I passed on a few months ago.
Mentioned up a few posts as well... Looks like it sold, was titled, went in for a service, then ended up back at the selling dealership. Maybe a buy-back when the new owner discovered a few things and raised a fuss? Hard to think of many other reasons why it would be sold/titled and then end up right back at the selling dealership a month later.
Local BMW dealer took a 2015 C4S in on on new i8. Original MSRP was about $125K, 10K miles. Basalt Black over full tan leather with most of the goodies.
They got a buy-bid when figuring trade in value from the local Porsche dealer for $87,500. Put it on their web site for a few days at $95,000 (and they are a no-negotiation dealership), but sold it to the Porsche dealer for the buy bid price yesterday.
Hasn't popped up on the Porsche dealers site yet, but I imagine it will in a day or so, and probably be like $105K CPO.
Hi everyone, I've been lurking for awhile and am still a few months away from moving forward with a purchase. I found this CPO 2014 Carrera S for $79k and wanted to share:
Link to dealer, I spoke with John Beech and he was great, tell him Ryan R. sent you!:

GT3 CUP Races at Road America. One word. INSANE. Went over to the race team areas too. Seeing the cars up close was sweet. Heard a few cars at start up and being moved. Even at idle, boy are they LOUD. Hearing those fly around the track is music to ones ears.
