Finally bought the car from a nice seller and its now home. She's a beauty. Thanks Bob Z and others for comments regarding the PCCB. Brakes pads still have 9mm on them and I am told 11-12mm is new.

I find the agate gray doesn't photograph well but its gorgeous in person with the polished black wheels. I was skeptical of the color combo until I saw it in person.

A beauty and a well taken care of and documented car. Would be nice to keep it in the family here.

Mexico Blue GTS 7-speed with 4k miles on BaT (with minor accident history) could be a great deal:

That car is amazing. That accident is minor and tragic all at the same time.

Curious to hear your sense of value for this car.

I would say PTS Mexico Blue adds about ten percent and accident detracts about ten percent, so it's almost a wash. I suspect the market will view it otherwise...more like slight premium for color and bigger discount for accident...but we shall see.

Paying a premium for PTS is absurd. That being said this is the best color around, and if you want a GTS 7-speed, doesn't get much better. From the sound of it the accident was really minor and repaired properly.

Why is that absurd? One can look at PTS like any option - if you want it you have to pay for it. If Miami Blue was not available when I ordered my Targa GTS I would have paid for Mexico Blue and not thought twice about it.
