Hi Guys thanks for all the inputs. Wow lots of love for the cabs. I have a 1yr old so I'm assuming cab is less hassle for us to get him seated am I right? My concern is since it rains a lot here in Seattle how's the cab's water seal holding in the long run, any experiences?
The reason I'd consider the coupe over the cab is it's got PSE and some other goodies and I don't have to worry about parking it on the driveway, also I think I can shoot for a much lower price. Carfax wise both looks clean and well maintained.

That silver aero kit 2015 c2s asking 93k from Leith porsche looks interesting too(but not for the asking price, I'm thinking ~85k). What's your thoughts on that?
And a couple of other options pop out(with a 991.2 base c2 I really like for 5-10k outside of the 90k budget) I'll keep digging and have you guys updated.

Thanks again!

The top operation for the 991 is super nice and easy. Very fast up and down, even while moving. Much easier than on my 993.
I have not had the car in the rain, so I can't really comment on that, but I have washed it. And even with the hose pointing at the side windows right there by the top I have not had any water on the inside. I would say it is pretty well sealed.

If both of them look good on carfax it is just a matter of personal preferences, options and price, which only you can decide.

I love the PSE on my cab, but you can retrofit it, if your dream car doesn't have it.

Good luck!

Cab lover here, I drive mine all year round, sun, rain and snow. The top and fitment is substantially better than anything, in previous 911 cabs. The car is designed for all weather. I would steer away from a car that the dealer wouldn't CPO, if that vehicle seemed eligible in age and mileage....

Default Target price on used 991.1

Hi guys, long time first time. Hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm looking at a 2013 911 S Cabriolet in SoCal. Here are the options:
0Q White
176 Sport Exhaust System
1V Cabriolet Roof in Black
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
276 Automatically dimming mirrors
321 Power Sport seats (right)
322 Power Sport seats (left)
342 Seat heating (front)
541 Seat ventilation (front)
603 Porsche Dynamic Light System
625 Porsche Entry & Drive
630 Int Light Pkg for Rear Compart
636 ParkAssist (front and rear)
640 Sport Chrono Package
680 BOSE
690 SiriusXM(R) & HD Radio(R) rcvr
693 6 disc CD/DVD changer
AZ Black leather interior
P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way)
P37 BOSE
P39 Prem Pkg Plus w 14-way seats
XDH Wheels painted Platinum
XRP Wheel spacers, 5 mm

It's due for the 40K service, but looks like everything else was done. It was originally listed at 81,888. it's down to $75,888 and has been for sale for 140 days. I'm an Oregon resident so wont have to pay sales tax (not sure if that makes a difference in negotiation). What do you think is a fair price on the car?
Thanks in advanced.

But why are they selling it from Niello Maserati and not from Niello Porsche? If you bought it from Niello Porsche they could give you CPO.

Then, they'd want over $90K for it.

Default Opinions of price?

Hi guys. First time poster. What do you think a fair target price for this 991 S?

0Q White
176 Sport Exhaust System
1V Cabriolet Roof in Black
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
276 Automatically dimming mirrors
321 Power Sport seats (right)
322 Power Sport seats (left)

640 Sport Chrono Package
680 BOSE
690 SiriusXM(R) & HD Radio(R) rcvr
693 6 disc CD/DVD changer
AZ Black leather interior
P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way)
P37 BOSE
P39 Prem Pkg Plus w 14-way seats
XDH Wheels painted Platinum
XRP Wheel spacers, 5 mm

Its a 13 with 37K and it looks like all the services were done on time, but the 40k service is coming up very soon. It's been listed for sale for 140 days, and was originally listed at $81,888 and is now listed at $76k. I'm an Oregon resident and would not pay sales tax (if that makes any difference) and will probably ship to Oregon.

Thanks in advanced!

I bought mine through a Maserati dealer that had a sister Porsche dealer. The Mas dealer knows its a hot car and wants it on their lot to get the sales figures and inventory turnover. That's why. If you're interested in buying it then I'd be willing to bet a strong possibility of having it certified....

Not so hard, is it?

Looks like a nice 991 if you are looking for a PDK cabriolet... Full leather, sport chrono, sport exhaust, paddle shift, platinum painted wheels are all desirable options.

If taken on trade, it's somewhat understandable that the used car manager at Maserati wants to keep it on his lot rather than shipping it down to the sister Porsche dealership, I'm sure they all have their own sales goals and P&L targets.

If one really wanted CPO, you might be able to work a deal where Maserati negotiates pricing but has Porsche do the final sale with CPO, but expect at least a $3K-$4K bump in price.

Dig the white paint, black roof, gray/black interior. I could live without the red gauges and belts, doesn't really work with the other color choices.

As for price, I wouldn't pay that for it, but I'm also not a cabriolet guy and don't put a huge premium on some of these super low mile cars... 30K miles is just fine with me if the car is pristine.
