+1 for sport technos!

And I agree those Turbo wheels are the ugliest choice for the 991. I prefer any of the other wheels over that one. They seem very popular on the Macan, but I don't like them much better there.

George,

Thought you might be interested in an extra set of wheels.

HJas anyone had a look at this Carmax S?
I hate the front plate but it otherwise looks clean, and seems like a very reasonable price.

Wow. Great deal!

Ok, maybe I spoke too quick. Like starting a manual vs. PDK debate. Let's say they're my "least favorite" and leave it at that. I make jokes about PDK too when I actually have one too.

The best description someone made was "Audi styling". Something I think we're seeing on the .2 models across the model line lately.

There was an article that Porsche and Audi will be sharing more design/manufacturing or something. Anyone see it and have a link? Been looking for it again.

Wasn't expecting such a huge outpouring of comments on the wheels. We can move on please

They do look great on that white car.

For the 991.2 they changed those wheels:
- just straight spokes, not the slimming along the middle
- stretch spokes further toward the center
- contiguous rim

They came out a bit better I'd say because they are a bit less distracting in their detail (they have less detail) and still support a look along long lines.

The price is only reasonable today, it wouldn't have been some time ago. Keep in mind it has about 1 year of warranty left and no CPO. Unless you buy a carmax warranty.

Can't post the buildsheet right now. It has the SC for the PDK and the paddles, so it's probably a nice driving car with nice wheels (platinum). Otherwise not an expensive build.

If you like white on black that's a nice low-mile c2s with usable automatic transmission control. Price-wise I don't think you can do better right now.

They also told me it had CPO. However my understanding is CPO cannot transfer since they are not a Porsche dealer. I dont think he wants it sold but to drive it around all day lol

I stopped in quick car has been parked and is on the front line for sale. It looks super clean inside and out. They replaced the tire and also had an invoice for dent wizard laying on the dash. It looks like a very nice build.

I took a couple pictures today send me a private message I'll email them to you or txt.

I think they are gorgeous. Maybe my favorite wheels for the 991.1, although Carrera Classics are a close second. And I like them a LOT more than sport technos (which are just okay in my eyes).

I really dig my Carrera Classics a lot but my favorite right now are probably the RS Spyder Design wheels on the 991.2.

Wheels are so subjective. I honestly think that Porsche doesn't make a bad looking wheel - I like them all. I even liked the Sport Design wheels on my first 991.1.

Oh, I would hate to clean those wheels, though! Ugh! (Same with the RS Spyder Design wheels on the 991.2.) Why do I always like the wheels that are the hardest to clean?

I actually prefer the 991.1 version of the Turbo wheels over the 991.2 version...like I said, it's so subjective!

The first time I saw them in person was on an Agate Grey 4S at autocross. I thought they looked amazing!

Okay, my last wheel comment. I think these are the ugliest Porsche wheels I have ever seen:

What has been seen cannot be unseen...I wouldn't really want to have 20 John Thomas's spinning around on each axle as I drive.

Sport Technos look good until you realize they're going the wrong way on the passenger side. It makes it just a little bit off, like a car parked with the spoiler up.
