Default Hot for sale pick of the week!!

Question from a newbie - does the little baby whale tale in the sport design package actually create aerodynamic downforce or is it just for aesthetics?

The infamous "duck" (not related to the whale family) does indeed look good and perform well (downforce) too!

Good question!

I have impeccable taste in automobiles regardless of what that Scottish guy Larry says!

I'll keep reporting on the cars. Signing off!

Default Hot for sale pick of the week!!

2012.5 991 C2S Coupe PDK in Guards Red over black leather. With CPO warranty Porsche dealer UT. Look at this price!

25K miles and asking 75K

Sharp car, nicely optioned and great price! MSRP has to be around 120K and not including the Cup Aerokit package.

PDK
Sport Chrono
PSE
14 Ways
Bose
Sunroof
Front/Rear park assist

The Sport Design front bumper and rear Cup Aerokit rear spoiler must have been added by the previous owner. Nice bonus. They aren't on the build sheet and were not an option in 2012.5

https://ken-garff.porschedealer.com/...08638/info.php

Looks like a nice bonus that was switched out. You'd need to confirm the details. This price does not include painting or install!

You seem to be finding some killer deals lately.

Do you think the release of 991.2 is putting downward pressure on 991.1 used prices?

I know existing 991.1 owners would think the opposite, but maybe to dealers the 991.1 is just a soon to be older model car?

Thanks.

I think depreciation will be business as usual. Dealers could care less. To them it's just a used car.

Future buyers will determine resale values, but to be honest, most "average mainstream" 911 buyers could give a rats *** about NA or turbo charged. They're used to it from their BMW's, etc.. It's even reflected on this board. They just want the newest/latest/greatest and only care about torque/HP numbers and more electronic gadgets. Zipping from stop light to stop light is the measure of a nice car. Anyway ...... At the end of the day, cars will keep getting better and better. Part of evolution. Older cars become a novelty and hobby.

I think the last of the NA cars will be appreciated in the future and the market may reflect that in 10-20yrs. who knows. I think there will be an inverted curve with a bottom and slow appreciation again at some point. Only speculation and since there are a lot of 991.1's out there, the car will have to be somewhat unique with some essential options.

Only then do the greedy dealers and resellers come out of the woodwork. Look at the crazy frenzy in the current GT car market.

Finding the cars that I've posted obviously lessen the total $$$ cost and minimize your ownership cost. Having a 30-45K hit already taken by someone else is nice. On some of these 80-90K preowned cars, they've lost that cash in only 2-3 years! Insane. The depreciation going forward on these preowned ones will be lessened by at least 50% on average.

Call me cheap or whatever, but a 30-40K hit after only a year or two of ownership is painful. That's with less than 10K miles too!

Right now I think you're seeing a small down tick in 991.1 prices. Starting to see some nicer cars and deals. Maybe with summer wrapping up too. Leases expiring and other factors like the 991.2 Finding truly good builds and nicer cars is still hard!! There are ALOT of bad builds and combinations out there.

Sorry for the long answer to a simple question!

By the way, I'm expanding my searches to some cars with higher mileage 15-30K to find some good deals as well.

All these cars listed on this thread are great cars at great prices. I try finding really unique and attractive cars. That's just a small snap shot though. Too many diverse tastes and options to please everyone. Get out there and search guys!

The red one is a good one at that price. Really loaded and certified. Don't see many at that number with the full aero kit too.

Default Voodoo Blue

Some eye candy for the beginning of the week!

Crazy Voodoo Blue GTS. I like the color, but they overdid it with the wheels and few other areas. The interior carbon clashes with the blue in my opinion. They should have followed Vise's interior painted look on the areas where it was done. Black headlights and black wheels would have looked great on this car.

Look at that MSRP for a GTS! It's the MSRP price. No mark up. Interested??

CALL Porsche sales guy:

Brian Barrantes
(619)370-1399

Nice color, crazy price. Buy a GT3 instead with change left over!

Default Now a more realistic $$$ PTS

2014 PTS 991 C2S in MEXICO BLUE!

Only 3,500 miles with a 135K sticker and asking 106K. Not a low priced car, but for the person looking for a PTS, a good option. A 30K discount! Can't beat that.

Attractive build though! Only thing I'd change is switching out the steering wheel to the aluminum sport one.

http://www.racperformance.com/2014-P...no_mobile=true

PDK
SPASM
SC
PSE
14 ways
Burmester
Black PDLS headlights
Black glass sunroof
Sport Design Mirrors! Too bad it doesn't have the whole bumper/duck package.

Overall, a beauty! I love the blue with black wheels and black accents.

Default Hot for sale pick of the week!!

2013 991 C4S PDK Platinum Silver/Black with Cup Aerokit Package. Only 6K miles and asking 92K. BMW dealer in NJ

http://mobile.bmwoftenafly.com/detai...-14022013.html

Don't have many details. Can see:

PDK
Sport Chrono
PSE
18 ways
Sunroof

Finding a reasonably priced 4S in a Cup Aerokit package isn't the easiest. Do some dealing. Get them down a bit. If you've shopped 4S's in the mileage range, you know this price isn't too bad to start.

^Terrible dealer, would not recommend. Apparently condensation in headlights is acceptable for a 1 year old car.
