Funny thing is... I couldn't say, "They're changing all the motors to Turbos and I've got to get one of the NA motors!" Why? I already have a Turbo that I love! So I can't go selling the "Turbos are of the devil" line! Had to speak of "fundamental transformation of the character of the flat-six..." "... in use since 1964..." and "gone forever, never to be seen again" language. Don't get me wrong -- it's what I believe, but the packaging is what's important!

Sound is also important to me, but what is more important is how will the engine perform. It's been many years since I owned a 4cyl turbocharged engine, but the problem I had with it was the performance degradation when the engine became hot after pushing the car to or near redline for a few minutes. I never put the engine on a dyno, but after about ten minutes of track time, I could clearly detect a loss of power.

It is the natural progression. Unless there is a dramatic culture shift away from the I'm-not-responsible-for-anything-I-do mindset that is growing like a fast fungus.I just hope that by the time its true I'll either be too feeble to drive anyway or that anti-agathic therapies will be sufficient to rejuvenate me so that I can become a cop. Or perhaps Scotty will FINALLY BEAM ME UP.

Also, I'm hoping/predicting for a "Delorean effect" to happen to Tesla. What is that, you ask? It's a series of many bad decisions with varying levels of severity that lead to his companies demise.
Except Delorean is much cooler than Tesla will ever be!
