As you know from my posts, I am familiar with the GT3 forum thread to which you are referring. This is why it's best to see a color of interest in person, rather than go with opinions from the internet.

Sorry if I missed it, but how many miles did you have on your 991?

I traded it with 5,350 miles.

Money, congrats on the trade in. Your pics are great and although I had not been a fan of blue, I am now.
A naive question....if it was the stumble/hesitation that prompted you to look at the GT3, are we sure that the GT3 is immune from this issue?
Enjoy and all the best....

I'm not sure, but I don't want to live without a 911. I'm hoping that since the GT3 has a completely different motor that I won't have the same problem.

It will be interesting to see if this is transmission specific, engine specific and/or software specific.
Regardless, enjoy the heck out of it and now, for garage symmetry, you must consider trading in your M for a LeMans blue version.

Congrats on the GT3! Hopefully I'll be following in your footsteps in the next couple of years. And, BTW, Sapphire Blue is stunning. Get a nice coat of polish on it and it will knock your socks off!

Oh Matt... I forgot to ask you. I noticed you had the 4 way seats in your Porsche. You said they were as good or better than the M seats. The reason I ask is b/c I think they are the 'stock' seats in the GTS. I am especially concerned re lumbar support, as I am about 6'1" or 2" 200lbs with a somewhat bad back. If you tell me they are as comfortable as the M seats, I think they may be fine for me and a huge savings over the 18 way adjustables.

I about the same size, and I love the 4 way Sport Seats. They are at bit more snug than the M4/3 seats, but are better. I think you'd be fine with them. I just don't like how much weight the 18 way seats add. It's something like 22lbs a seat.

Stunning car!

Followed your journal, took away many good tips - sorry it came to this, but you are going to love that car.

Congrats on the GT3, which is absolutely stunning!! The Sapphire Blue really pops, even in the pics. Can't wait to read your in depth review of the car, and especially your views on the PDK-S. Sure hope you have a totally problem and drama-free ownership experience with this beauty.
