Hard to guide you on that. If you track the car it's a rhetorical question. If it's mostly a DD then it's preference. You will never use the extra performance on the street but depending on your options you may loose a lot of comfort/convenience. If it's a viagra substitute then flip a coin. We don't know you so advice on this meaningless.

If you're not going to track it, buy a nicely sport performance optioned C2S and get the PowerKit.

That's funny. I was just on the configurator messing around today. I'm pretty sure my wife would kick me out of the house, so I closed it before she saw me. If it were me, I'd wait for the second model year. On the bright side, I'm sure it's a lot easier to get an allocation these days.

This one is sitting at a stealership right now! The only option I wanted that this one doesn't have is the front-end lift.

So did Porsche buy it back after the engine replacement? Any markup? Used? CPO'd?

If it's not just a weekend car I think the front end lift is a must have option.

Possibly, but I recently called two dealers I have bought Porsches from and both told me no way to get a GT3 at this point.

front end lift on a GT3 is a must have unless you have an endless supply of front spoiler lips

you will take the depreciation hit on your C2S, but you will be buying a great car. However only time will tell how the future market will view the 2014's with the replacement engines ... so if you buy it keep it for a LONG time.

Also, dont take any sh*t from the dealer its invoice < your $$'s <= MSRP
