This would be a lot more impressive if the C2 were a 996. I understand the 996 GT2 was a formidable car, but the 996-to-991 technological advances are simply enormous. And the speed difference is not as significant as one might think. I believe the 996 GT2 0-100km was 4.1 whereas the 991 C2 (fitted with PDK) is 4.6. So there is obviously a speed difference, but it's not exactly hare-tortoise.

If they made a 991 GT3 MT, it would sell. And sell quickly. But, sadly, we are past the beginning to the end with MT. Those of us who appreciate MT should be grateful, I suppose, that any of the 911 models can be so fitted.
